For to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul, for You Lord are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all who call upon You. Psalm 86:5

I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore. For great is Your mercy toward me, and you have delivered me from the depths of hell.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage. Psalm 84: 5

“For the Lord is a sun and shield, the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in You!”

Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will declare what He has done for my soul. Psalm 66:16

“I cried to Him with my mouth, and He was praised with my tongue. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear, but certainly, God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me!”

God be merciful to us and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us, that Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among the nations. Psalm 67:1-2

Someone challenged me this week about, why we as Christians are not praying for God to let the Coronavirus go away, and I told him, that I know that God did not create this virus, but that God is in the midst of it, and that God is going to use this virus to bring many people closer to him. God will work His purpose out, but we cannot give up, we cannot lose heart, we must wait patiently on the Lord. We must allow God to work his purpose out! We should be praying to God, to let the best in us shine through, during these difficult times and to walk closer with our God.

“Many sorrows shall be to the wicked, but he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him.”

“Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, you righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart! Rejoice in the Lord, O, you righteous, for praise from the upright is beautiful.”

Oh, how great is Your goodness which You have prepared for those who trust in You, in the presence of the sons of men! Psalm 31:19

“You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence, from the plots of man. You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion, from the strife of tongues. Blessed be the Lord. For He has shown me His marvelous kindness in a strong city! Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord.”

Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105

“Thy Word is like a garden, Lord, with flowers bright and fair; and everyone who seeks may pluck a lovely cluster there. Thy Word is like a deep, deep mine; and jewels rich and rare, are hidden in its mighty depths for every searcher there. Thy Word is like a starry host, a thousand rays of light, are seen to guide the traveler and make his pathway bright. Thy Word is like an armory, where soldiers may repair; and find for life’s long battle day, all needful weapons there.”

“Lord, let us in our homes agree, Your blessed peace to gain, unite our hearts in love to Thee, and love to all will reign.” Amen!

“Happy the home when God is there, and love fills every breast; when one their wish, and one their prayer, and one their heavenly rest. Happy the home where Jesus’ name, is sweet to every ear; where children early speak His fame, and parents hold Him dear. Happy the home where prayer is heard, and praise is incline to rise; where parents love the sacred Word, and all its wisdom prize.”

The Lord knows us intimately, there is nothing hidden from his eyes.

O Lord, You have searched me and known me, You know my sitting down and my rising up, You understand my thoughts afar off, You understand my path, You are acquainted with all my ways; for there is not a word on my tongue, that You don’t already know. Search me now, O God, and know my heart, try me, and know my anxieties, and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139

He who have ears to hear, let him hear! Matthew 11:15

“But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear, for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desire to see what you see, and did not see and to hear what you hear and did not hear. Therefore, hear the parable of the sower; there are some who will hear the word of God, the good seed, and will not understand it, others will  received the seed by the wayside, there are those, who will receive the word on stony places, but he who receives the word on good ground, is he who hears the word, understand it, and indeed bears good fruit.” Praise the Lord!
