In those days, Mary set out and went with haste to a Judean town in the hill country, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. “Heavenly Father, you are the Master of both light and darkness, send your Holy Spirit upon our preparations for the Christ-child. Daily purify our consciences.” Lord, remove anything from within us that we put before you so that we could receive the promised and long-awaited, Messiah. Come, Lord Jesus!

A candle is burning, a candle of LOVE, a candle to point us to heaven above, a baby for Christmas, a wonderful birth, for Jesus is bringing God’s love to our earth.
