No one should seek his own good, but the good of others. 1 Corinthians 10:24

“We should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord. For even Christ did not please Himself. So then, let us pursue the things which make for peace and the building up of one another. For whoever serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men.”

So, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all for the glory of God, do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks, or the church of God.1 Corinthians 10

“If anyone speaks, he should speak as one conveying the words of God. If anyone serves, he should serve with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen. In this hope, I strive always to maintain a clear conscience before God and man. I don’t just do what is best for me; I do what is best for others so that many may be saved.”

For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Psalm 1:6

On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.’

“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. Matthew 7:13

My brothers and sister in Christ, we are reminded in Luke chapter thirteen, to work hard to enter the narrow door to God’s Kingdom, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. For when the master of the house has locked the door, it will be too late. You will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Lord, open the door for us!’ But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of evil!’

But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do. 1 Peter 1:15

“For God has not called us to impurity, but to holiness, and there will be a highway called the Way of Holiness.  It will be named the Highway of Holiness. Evil-minded people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there.” Lord, teach me how to walk in the Way of Holiness.

No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Luke 6:43

“For each tree is known by its own fruit. Indeed, figs are not gathered from thornbushes, nor grapes from brambles. Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water. If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it, by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.”

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience. Ephesians 5:6

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. You can identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. They will be known by their actions, whether their conduct is pure and upright.”

Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him.  Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Colossians 2:6,7

My brothers and sisters in Christ, there are many false witnesses in the world. “See to it that no one takes you captive with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him.“

Which one of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?  Matthew 6:27

Give us this day our daily bread! My brothers and sisters in Christ, if we pray in this manner and believe, God will provide. He did not teach us to say, give us bread for tomorrow or next week, he taught us to say, give us this day, our daily bread. So, stop worrying about what you need for today, or worrying about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries, today’s trouble is enough for today. We must be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, and with thanksgiving, we should make our requests to God, casting all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us.

“Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you, allelu, alleluia!”

My brothers and sisters in Christ, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Instead, be concerned above everything else with the Kingdom of God and with what he requires of you, and he will provide you with all that need.
