Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers and sisters. Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? 1 Corinthians 6:8-9

“Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who have sex with men, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the Spirit of our God.” Thank you, Lord, for delivering me!

O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. Psalm 104:25

“Yonder is the great and wide sea with its living things to many to number, creatures both great and small. All of them look to you and you give them their food in due season. Lord, you give it to them, they gather it, you open your hand and they are filled with good things. May the glory of the Lord endure forever, and may the Lord rejoice in all his works. I will sing to the Lord as long as I live, I will praise my God while I have my being.”

HAVE AN ENJOYABLE MEMORIAL DAY!

“God bless America, the land that I love, stand beside her and guide her, through the night with the light from above. From the mountains to the prairies to the oceans white with foam. God bless America, my home sweet home.”

Today is Pentecost Sunday! “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men, and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Acts 2:17-21

“We’re marching to Zion, beautiful, beautiful Zion. We’re marching upward to Zion, the beautiful city of God.”

“Come, we that love the Lord, and let our joys be known, join in a song with sweet accord, join in a song with sweet accord, and thus surround the throne, and thus surround the throne. The hills of Zion yields, a thousand sacred sweets, before we reach the heav’nly fields, before we reach the heav’nly fields, or walk the golden streets, or walk the golden streets. Yes, we’re marching to Zion, beautiful, beautiful Zion, we’re marching upward to Zion, the beautiful city of God.”

“Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in his wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace.”

“O, soul are you weary and troubled, no light in the darkness you see? There’s light for a look at the Savior, and life more abundant and free.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, you may be feeling weary and troubled this morning, you may seem like the darkness is overpowering you, but I want to remind you this morning, that if you just look up at the Savior, if only you would turn your eyes upon Jesus, and look full in his wonderful face, the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of his glory and grace. God wants us all to live life abundantly and freely, but we must trust him to show us the way.

The Lord is my helper! Today, I will not worry or complain, for the Lord is at my right hand, and I shall not be moved. Praise God!

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help, my help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved, he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper, the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil, he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in, from this time forth, and even for evermore. Psalm 121

The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at the break of day. Psalm 46

“I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.” The Lord is nearer to us than we think.

Today, we may be weakened by the struggles of life, we may stumble and fall because of faith failure, and we may go through the day down-trodden and confused; but, fear not, the Lord has promised to help us, he has promised that he will uphold us with his righteous right hand, he said, ‘I will never leave you not forsake’, let us hold on to his promises which are true and never doubt his abilities. Thank you, Lord!

Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 1 Peter 4

Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your anxiety on Him, for He cares for you. Discipline yourselves, keep alert, be sober, and be vigilant; because your adversary the devil prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brothers and sisters in all the world. And, after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, will Himself restore, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 5
