Since we respected our earthly fathers who disciplined us, shouldn’t we submit even more to the discipline of the Father of our spirits, and live forever? Hebrews 12:9

When we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be condemned with the world. 1 Corinthians 11:13

My child, don’t make light of the Lord’s discipline, and don’t give up when he corrects you, because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son. Hebrews 12

“Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their fathers? If God does not discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all.”

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. John 10:11

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12

“And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you.” Amen!

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.2 Timothy 4:7

“From now on there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but to all who crave His appearing.”

Everyone who competes in the games, trains with strict discipline. They do it for a crown that is perishable, but we do it for a crown that is imperishable. 1 Corinthians 9:25

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. Hebrews 12:1

“All good gifts around us are sent from heaven above, then thank the Lord, O, thank the Lord, for all his love.”

O God, you have given us so much, you continue to bless us and to give us good gifts, not because of anything that we have done, but because you are a merciful, loving, and caring God. May we ever show our gratitude to you. Thank you, Lord!

All that we have received are gifts from God, and on loan to us, may we always be good stewards and remember to thank the giver.

Thus, any tithe from the land, whether from the seed of the land or the fruit of the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord. Leviticus 27:30

Then he said to them, “Give therefore to the emperor the things that are the emperors and to God the things that are Gods”. Malachi 3

My brothers and sisters in Christ, have you been giving to Caesar the things that belong to God? Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!” Our God cannot lie. Give to God the things that belong to God.

Perhaps the Lord will see my affliction and repay me with good for the cursing I receive today. 2 Samuel 16:12

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8
