For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

“To God be the glory, great things He has done, so loved He the world that He gave us His Son, who yielded His life in atonement for sin, and opened the life-gate that all may go in. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the earth hear His voice, praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the people rejoice, O come to the Father to Jesus the Son, and give Him the glory, great things He has done.”

The Lord is in His holy temple; the Lord is on His heavenly throne. His eyes are watching closely; they examine the sons of men. Psalm 11:4

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence comes my help, my help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121

If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with you, so that you may be feared. Psalm 130

“Oh Israel, hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is steadfast love, and with him is great power to redeem. It is he who will redeem Israel from all its iniquities.”

We would never be able to recount God’s blessings to us in order, so as they come to mind, give God a praise!

“Count your blessings name them one by one, count your blessing see what God has done, count your blessings, name them one by one, and it will surprise you what the Lord has done. When you look at others with their lands and gold, think that Christ has promised you his wealth untold, count your many blessings money cannot buy, your reward in heaven nor your home on high.”

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! 1 Chronicles 16:34

“When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the Lord above the temple, they bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord because of His goodness and His steadfast love that endures forever.” What has the Lord done for you that you could praise Him for today?

Whenever our faith is being tested, we need to look to God, the author and finisher of our faith, who will sustain us.

“My faith looks up to Thee, Thou Lamb of Calvary, Savior divine, now hear me while I pray, take all my guilt away, not ever let me stray from Thee aside. May thy rich grace impart, strength to my fainting heart, my zeal inspire, as Thou has died for me, Oh, let my love for Thee, pure, warm, and changeless be, a living fire. When life’s dark maze I tread, and grieves around me spread, be Thou my guide, bid darkness turn to day, wipe sorrows tears away, not let me ever stray from Thee aside.”

Whatever petition you bring before God today, believe that He is able. “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” James 1:6

This is one of my favorite go to hymns when I need a faith boost: “O, for a faith that will not shrink, though pressed by every foe, that will not tremble on the brink of any earthly woe. A faith that will not murmur or complain, beneath the chastening rod, but in the hour of grief or pain will lean upon its God. A faith that shines more bright and clear, when tempests rage without, that when in danger knows no fear, in darkness knows no doubt. Lord, give us such a faith as this, and then, whatever may come, I’ll taste even now the hallowed bliss, of an eternal home.”

For we walk by faith, not by sight.2 Corinthians 5:7

For in this hope we were saved; but hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he can already see?

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

“By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in godly fear built an ark to save his family. By faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. So, we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you. 2 Corinthians 13:14

“For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God. For God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!” praise God!
