What if the Lord had not been on our side? Let all Israel now say, if it had not been for the Lord on our sides when people rose up against us. then they would have swallowed us up alive when their anger was kindled against us. Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises. James 5:13
When we are suffering, we should make it a habit to pray. “Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” Also, when we are happy, we should make it a habit to praise the Lord.
“The Lord is good and his mercy is everlasting.” We must never take His goodness for granted, but be thankful always.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise, be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations. Psalm 100
The Lord disciplined me severely, but He has not given me over to death. Psalm 118:8

I just love to hear her singing this beautiful hymn. It fills me with more love for her, and awe and wonders about my God?
