Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips and a deceitful tongue. Psalm 120:2

“May lying lips be silenced, which speak with arrogance against the righteous, full of pride and contempt.”

Oh, how I love Your law! All day long it is my meditation. Psalm 119:97

I delight to do thy will, O my God, yea, thy law is within my heart. Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law, he meditates day and night.

There is joy for those who deal justly with others and always do what is right. Psalm 106:3

There is a generation of those who are pure in their own eyes and yet unwashed of their filth. Proverbs 30:12

They profess to know God, but they deny Him by their actions. They are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for any good deed. Titus 1:16

When we’ve come to know God, we are changed! “If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. No one who remains in Him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has seen Him or known Him. Dear children, don’t let anyone deceive you about this: When people do what is right, it shows that they are righteous, even as Christ is righteous.”

By this we can be sure that we have come to know Him: if we keep His commandments. 1 John 2:3

“If anyone keeps His word, the love of God has been truly perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. But the one who says, ‘I have come to know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; for  Jesus said, If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.”

Whoever keeps His commandments remains in God, and God in him. And by this we know that He remains in us by the Spirit He has given us. 1 John 3:24

“Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did. Jesus said, I have given you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you. May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help us to live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.”

Though each of the peoples may walk in the name of his god, yet we will walk in the name of the Lord our God forever and ever. Micah 4:5

Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name. May You incline our hearts to You, to walk in all Your ways, and to keep the commandments and statutes and ordinances You commanded our fathers. For you O Lord is a just God. Blessed are all who walk obediently in Your name.

The Lord detests the way of the wicked, but He loves those who pursue righteousness. Proverbs 15:9

“The Lord is true to those who call on Him out of a pure heart; and if anyone cleanses himself of what is unfit, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, and prepared for every good work. The Lord detests the way of the wicked, but He loves those who pursue righteousness.”

Those who want to be rich, however, fall into temptation and become ensnared by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. 1 timothy 6:10

“But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, for God has said: “Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you. Whosoever is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord.”

I will make them strong in the Lord, and they shall walk in his name,” declares the Lord. Zechariah10:12

“For I am the Lord your God, who upholds your right hand, who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you. What more can we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might, he is able to make your pathway straight and what God has made straight man cannot make crooked. Let us therefore walk in His name.
