There, in the presence of the Lord your God, you and your households shall eat and rejoice in all you do, because the Lord your God has blessed you. Deuteronomy 12:7

But, “If you do not serve the Lord your God with joy and enthusiasm for the abundant benefits you have received, you will serve your enemies whom the Lord will send against you. You will be left hungry, thirsty, naked, and lacking in everything. The Lord will put an iron yoke on your neck, oppressing you harshly until he has destroyed you. These curses will be a sign and a wonder upon you and your descendants forever.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, let us never forget to be joyful in the Lord, and to give thanks, for all the blessings we have received.

But the righteous will be glad and rejoice before God; they will celebrate with joy. Psalm 68:3

“Sing praises to God and to his name! Sing loud praises to him who rides the clouds. His name is the Lord; rejoice in his presence! Come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us enter His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him in song. For the Lord is a great God, a great King above all gods.”

Now I know that the Lord saves His anointed; He answers him from His holy heaven with the saving power of His right hand. Psalm 20:6

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. Therefore, my heart rejoices, and I will thank Him with my song. The Lord is the strength of His people, a stronghold of salvation for His anointed. Psalm 28:7-8

The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14

“Be still and know who God is! You, O Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, and the One who lifts my head. My God of loving devotion will come to meet me; God will let me stare down my foes. Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will arise; though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light. I look to the Lord for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me.” I know who God is, I know of his excellent greatness, therefore I will stand still and let him fight my battles for me. Thank you, Lord!

May they know that You alone, whose name is the Lord, are Most High over all the earth. Psalm 83:18

“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.”

The Lord lives, and blessed be my Rock! And may God, the rock of my salvation, be exalted. 2 Samuel 22:47

“The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.  For this God is our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even until death.”

Let Everything That Has Breath Praise the Lord. Psalm 150:1

“Hallelujah! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens; praise Him for His mighty acts; praise Him for His excellent greatness; praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the harp and lyre; praise Him with tambourine and dancing; praise Him with the strings and flute, praise Him with clashing cymbals; praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Hallelujah!”

All You have made will give You thanks, O Lord, and Your saints shall bless You. Psalm 145:10

“Hallelujah! Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His loving devotion endures forever! Who can describe the mighty acts of the Lord or fully proclaim His praise? Declare His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all peoples. The Lord is good to all; His compassion rests on all He has made; they will tell of the glory of Your kingdom and speak of Your might, to make known to men Your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of Your kingdom.”

If you return to the Lord, “The Lord your God will make you abound in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock and in the produce of your land for good. For the Lord again will rejoice over you for good as he rejoiced over your fathers.” Deuteronomy 30:9

“The Lord your God will bless you; If you obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in the book of the law; and if you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. For this commandment which I command you today is not too mysterious for you, nor is it too far off. It is not in heaven that you should say, ‘Who will ascend into heaven for us, that we may hear and do it?’ Nor it is beyond the sea that you should say, ‘Who will go over to the sea for us and bring it to us that may hear and do it?’ But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it. See, I have set before you today, life and good, death and evil.” CHOOSE LIFE OR DEATH!

“Rejoice in the Lord always, and I again I say, Rejoice!”

My brothers and sisters in Christ, we must learn to trust God for everything, we must rejoice in him even when things don’t seem to be going right; because he who made us will never forsake us. “Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, though the labor of the olive may fail and the fields yield no food; though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls, yet, I will rejoice in the Lord. I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, he will make my feet like deer’s feet, he will make me walk on my high hills.” Habakkuk 3:17-19
