“Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and never bro’t to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and days of auld lang syne? For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne, we’ll take a cup of kindness yet, for auld lang syne.”

We have had our share of losses and griefs, hits and misses, troubles and trials, but to all of those things, we are raising a cup in remembrance. We will not forget old friends, we will never forget those we lost, and we will not linger on the misses, but focus on the hits. We are saying goodbye to 2022 but embracing 2023 and all that it brings. May the spirit of God be upon and continually lead and guide us.” For auld lang syne my dear, for auld lang syne, we’ll take a cup of kindness yet, for auld lang syne.”

“On this day, the earth shall ring with the song children sing to the Lord, Christ our King, born on earth to save us, him the Father gave us.”

“Angels from the realms of glory, wing your flight o’er all the earth, ye who sang creation story now proclaim the Messiah’s birth, come and worship, come and worship, worship Christ the new-born King.”

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light, those who live in a land of deep darkness, on them light was shined. Isaiah 9:2

O God, you have given us your Son Jesus who is the light of the world, who will help us to put away from us all works of darkness, and to walk in your marvelous light. Lord, we will no more walk as children of the night but of the day. We will be guided by your light and shine for those around us to see and hear of your goodness. Help us, Lord, so that we may embrace the light, which is Jesus Christ, our Emmanuel.

“O God, you make us glad by the yearly festival of the birth of your only Son Jesus Christ; grant that we who joyfully receive him as our Redeemer, may with sure confidence behold him when he comes to be our Judge.” (BCP)

Heavenly Father, we have been preparing homes in our hearts where you may dwell, we pray that everyone who has prepared a home in their heart for you will claim you, and be changed, by the renewing of their minds, so that you will continue to lead and guide them. May the light that you have restored in our lives be illumined to brighten the way for others, and the peace that you afford will be with us always. All this we ask in your precious name and let all the peoples say, ‘Amen’!

“O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining It is the night of the dear Savior’s birth! Long lay the world in sin and error pining Till he appear’d and the soul felt its worth. A thrill of hope the weary soul rejoices For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn! Oh, night divine!”

“Oh, Holy Night, when Christ was born! Truly He taught us to love one another, His law is love and His gospel is peace, chains shall He break for the slave is our brother, and in His name all oppression shall cease, sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise, and let all within us praise His holy name. Praise His holy name!”

Joy to the world the Lord is come, let earth receive her King!

“Joy to the Earth, the Savior reigns, et all their songs employ, while fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains, repeat the sounding joy, repeat the sounding joy, repeat, repeat, the sounding joy. He rules the world with truth and grace, and makes the nations prove, the glories of His righteousness, and wonders of His love, and wonders of His love, and wonders, wonders, of His love.” Merry Christmas everyone!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM OUR HOUSE TO YOUR HOUSE!

Davika, Kryer, Abby, Wanda, Frisky, Ginger, and I wish you a very Merry Christmas, and may the light of Christ continue to shine on in our hearts.

“Silent night, holy night! All is calm, all is bright, round yon Virgin, Mother, and Child. Holy infant so tender and mild, sleep in heavenly peace, sleep in heavenly peace.”

Lord, it is because of you, that silent night, when Jesus Christ was borne, that you sent your son Jesus, to be our Savior and light of this world, that we are celebrating this season of joy. Heavenly Father, bless us with your peace, calm us with your presence and sustain us you will. Heavenly Father, we need you, we need your presence to manifest in our lives, so show up this Christmas season in bold and daring ways that we may fear your name. All this we ask in your precious name. Amen!

“Come, Thou long expected Jesus, born to set Thy people free; from our fears and sins release us, let us find our rest in Thee. Israel’s strength and consolation, the hope of all the earth Thou art; dear desire of every nation, the joy of every longing heart.” Thank you, Lord, for the joy that is in my heart!

“Born Thy people to deliver, born a child and yet a King, born to reign in us forever, now Thy gracious kingdom bring. By Thine own eternal Spirit, rule in all our hearts alone; by Thine all sufficient merit, raise us to Thy glorious throne.”

“And they shall name him Emmanuel, which means God with us.” Thank you, Lord, for your presence in my life!

“Prepare the way O Zion your Christ is drawing near, let every hill and valley a level way appear; greet one who comes in glory, foretold in sacred story, oh, blest is Christ that comes, in God’s most holy name.”
