The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him. Nahum 1:7

When I think of the goodness of God, my heart is overwhelmed.
My brothers and sisters in Christ, we serve a good God, a god who does so many good things for us, blessings that we don’t deserve but what He knows is good for us. But how do we thank Him? Lord, continually give us grateful, thankful, overwhelming hearts, that will overflow so much, that we have to tell someone else of your goodness. When I think of the goodness of God, my heart is overwhelmed. Lord, continually lead me to the Rock that is higher and greater than I.

Almighty God, the fountain of all wisdom, you know our necessities before we ask and our ignorance in asking. Have compassion on our weaknesses, and mercifully give us those things which for our unworthiness we dare not, and for our blindness, we cannot ask, through the worthiness of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God now and forever.
