My enemies will retreat when I call to you for help. By this I know, God is on my side! Psalm 56:9

“They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about; but in the name of the Lord, I will destroy them. You come against me with sword, and spear, and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty.” There is power in the name of Jesus!

The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? Psalm 118:6

“By this I know You delight in me, for my enemy does not triumph over me. When my enemies retreat, they stumble and perish before You.” Thank You, Lord!

Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Psalm 60:4

“He lifts a banner for the distant nations and whistles for those at the ends of the earth. May we shout for joy at your victory and raise a banner in the name of our God.”

The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom then shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

“For in the day of trouble, he shall keep me safe in his shelter, he shall hide m in the secrecy of his dwelling and set me high upon a rock. Even now he lifts up my head above my enemies around me, therefore, I will offer in his dwelling an oblation with sounds of great gladness.”

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps His covenant of loving devotion for a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments. Deuteronomy 7:9

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful. 1 Corinthians 1:9

This is what the Lord says: “In the time of favor I will answer You, and in the day of salvation I will help You.” Isaiah 49:8

Kings will see you and stand up, princes will see and bow down, because of the Lord, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you. Isaiah 49:7

Listen to me, O coastlands, pay attention, you peoples from far away. The Lord called me before I was born, while I was in my mother’s womb, he named me. He made my mouth like a sharp sword, in the shadow of his hand he held me, he made me a polished arrow, in his quiver, he hid me away. And he said to me, ‘You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.’ Isaiah 49:1-4

May Your work be shown to Your servants, and Your splendor to their children. Psalm 90:16

You thrill me, O Lord, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done. Psalm 92:4

O God, you have taught me from my earliest childhood, and I constantly tell others about the wonderful things you do. Psalm 71:17

Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders which You have done, And Your thoughts toward us; there is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of them, they would be too numerous to count. Psalm 40:5

“Oh, magnify the Lord with me; with me exalt his name; when in distress to him I called, he to my rescue came.”

All of us have reasons to lift high the name of Jesus. He has rescued us so many times; when we were distressed and downtrodden, we called on his name, and he came to our rescue. So, join me this morning and magnify His name! “Of his deliv’rance I will boast, till all that are distressed, from my example comfort take, and charm their griefs to rest.”
