“Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim that anything comes from us, but our competence comes from God. To this end I labor, striving with all His energy working powerfully within me.”

But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out his special favor on me and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I, but God who was working through me by his grace.1 Corinthians 15:10

“For it is God who is working in you both to will and to work according to his good purpose, so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.”

“There are different ways of working, but the same God works all things in all men. May he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.”

Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips. Proverbs 27:2

“Do not be overly righteous, and do not make yourself too wise. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but enjoy the company of the lowly. Do not be conceited, for God’s mercy extends to those who fear Him, from generation to generation. He has performed mighty deeds with His arm; He has scattered those who are proud in the thoughts of their hearts. He has brought down rulers from their thrones, but has exalted the humble.”

The one who boasts of a gift not given, is like cloudy skies and wind that produce no rain. Proverbs 25:14

“For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God so that in due time he may exalt you.”

What is so special about you? What do you have that you were not given? And if it was given to you, how can you boast about it, as if you had not received it? 1 Corinthians 4:7

“Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is Thine.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, we must never boast about what we have, but give God thanks; for we can neither choose it, nor work for it, it does not depend on human will or effort, but on God who shows mercy. Therefore, do not think you are better than you really are; but be honest when evaluating yourself.

God has assigned to each one of us a measure of faith, and even though we are all one body, we have many members, but not all have the same function. Amazing!

My brothers and sisters in Christ, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. We must use them according to the proportion of this faith. Each one of us possess our own individual gift. Therefore, we do not need to imitate the gift of others. We must focus instead on what we could do well, and as good stewards of the manifold grace of God, use that gift to serve others; to bring God honor and glory.

Now, therefore, make a confession to the Lord, the God of your fathers, and do His will. Ezra 10:11

Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good, and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

Do you #Know who your God is? Or are you being tossed about by strange doctrines?

When Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, but others Elijah and still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say I am?” Simon Peters answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, are you still in doubt about who your God is? Pray then for your father in heaven to reveal this to you, and he will.

And they remembered that God was their rock, that God Most High was their Redeemer. Psalm 78:35

“With loving devotion, You will lead the people You have redeemed; with Your strength You will guide them to Your holy dwelling. God gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.”

The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let God be exalted, the Rock of my salvation. 2 Samuel 23:47

“Trust in him at all times you people, pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. He is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. My souls waits silently for God alone, for my expectation is from him, he only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense. I shall not be moved!”
