For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil, and in their eagerness to become rich, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with may pains. 1 Timothy 6:10

My brothers and sisters in Christ, we must pray every day for the Lord to remove anything evil from before us, for the faith to resist temptation, which lead many of us to do evil in His sight and be far removed from Him. Let us learn to trust God for the things that we need and wait.

Therefore, since we have this ministry through the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. 2 Corinthians 4:1

“We do not lose heart, for even though our outer-self is wasting away, yet our inner-self is being renewed day by day. Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from the ways of God.”

We are pressed on all sides, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair. 2 Corinthians 4:8

Despite the many trials we go through we are not crushed, perplexed or in despair, because, we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones whose souls will be saved.

But those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and immovable. Always excel in the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58

Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy. Psalm 126:5

My brothers and sisters in Christ, yesterday I encouraged you to not give up, to keep doing all for the glory of God; but we who have sown in tears and reaped in joy understand the process. It’s never easy when we are going through something that threatens to destroy us, to rob us of our peace, but we persevered, we did not give up, we kept the faith, we trusted God, and he was faithful. It’s only after we have sown in tears that we would really understand what it really means to reap in joy.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9

What is it that you have been doing, that, even though you know it’s the right thing to do, you are getting weary? It could be that parent you are taking care of, or that sick wife or husband, that friend who is constantly crying on your shoulder, or that co-worker whose hand you always seem to be holding; whatever the situation, if you are doing it all for the glory of God, you cannot get tired, for Scripture reminds us, that, in due time we will reap a bountiful harvest. Many times we wonder when that time will come, as we are only human; but my friends, when the day gets dreary and the night seems longs, know that you have a friend who is near, a friend who can help you carry the load, to give you strength for the journey, just find a quiet place to rest for a moment and you will hear his loving voice saying, “Come unto me all ye who travel and are heavy laden and I will refresh you.”

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So, neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the increase. 1 Corinthians 3:6-7.

Oh Lord, “May Your work be shown to Your servants, and Your splendor to their children, and may the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish for us the work of our hands. Psalm 90:16-17

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen! Psalm 23:6

“O Lord, I love the house where You dwell, the place where Your glory resides. Let me dwell in Your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. For I have seen You in the sanctuary, to behold Your power and glory.”

This is the Lord’s doing, and it is wonderful to see. This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:23-24

Every morning I awake is new, and filled with blessings from the Lord, and because of this, I enter daily into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. For better is one day in the courts of the Lord, than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of the wicked. Thank you, Lord!

“What a mighty God we serve! What a mighty God we serve! Angels bow before him, heaven and earth adore him, what a mighty God we serve!” Give him glory and praise this morning, he is worthy!

Lord, I just want to thank you for all that you have done for me, and whatever you did not do, it was for my own good; and because I know this, I could say with confidence, “It is well, it is well with my soul.” Thank you, Lord!
