For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. Romans 8:14

“The Spirit you received does not make you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, ‘Abba, Father.’ Therefore, sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace. “To God be the glory!

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit. Galatians 5:24-25

“So, I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh; they are in conflict with each other so that you are not to do whatever you want.  But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law but under God’s marvelous grace.”

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free, stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1 Whatever God has delivered you from don’t look back!

My brothers and sisters in Christ, we were all bought at a price, Jesus laid down his life to gain us this freedom; and are reminded in the book of Galatians, that we were called to freedom, but that we should not use our freedom as an opportunity for self-indulgence, but through love, become slaves to one another. For the whole law is summed up in a single commandment, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’.

A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps. Proverbs 16:9

“Many plans are in a man’s heart, but the purpose of the Lord will prevail. I know, O Lord, that a man’s way is not his own; no one who walks directs his own steps.” Lord, teach me the way I should walk, and help me to walk according to your will.

Oh, sing unto the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have gained him the victory. The Lord has made known his salvation. Psalm 98

Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth, sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his wonders among all peoples. For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised! He is to be feared above all gods. Let the heavens rejoice and let the earth be glad! Psalm 96

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So, neither he who plants, nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. 1 Corinthians 3:6,7

But remember that it is the Lord your God who gives you the power to gain wealth, in order to confirm His covenant that He swore to your fathers, even to this day. Deuteronomy 8:18. We can do nothing in our own strength, but with God all things are possible.

And now, behold, I have brought the first fruits of the land that You, O Lord, have given me. Deuteronomy 26:10 When we give the Lord our first fruits, He multiplies our harvest.

“Sowing in the morning, sowing seeds of kindness, sowing in the noontide and the dewy eve; waiting for the harvest, and the time of reaping, we shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves. Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves, we shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.”

The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it. Proverbs 10:22

Now, Isaac sowed seed in the land, and that very year he reaped a hundredfold and the Lord blessed him, and he became richer and richer, until he was exceedingly wealthy. Genesis 26:12-13 Too many times the Lord has blessed us out of the abundance of his storehouse, but I have come to understand this very well, that the more we sow, and the good we sow, brings hundredfold blessings.

“On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand, all other ground is sinking sand.” Why should I worry about who puts me down, when God is constantly lifting me up?

“My hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus’ blood and righteousness, I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus’ name. His oath, his covenant, his blood, supports me in the ‘whelming flood, when all around my soul gives way, He then is all my hope and stay.” Thank you, Lord!

Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is a God of change, not a God who changes. To God be the glory!

“After Jesus had driven out demons from a man he met in Gerasenes, the man begged Jesus to stay with him., but Jesus sent him away saying, “Return to your home and declare how much God has done for you.” So, he went away proclaiming throughout the city, how much Jesus had done for him.” Oh, that we w would be more like this man, to declare all that the Lord has done and continue to do for us!
