“I am satisfied with Jesus, but a question comes to me, as I ponder o’er His goodness: Is He satisfied with me?” My brothers and sisters in Christ, all of us should be asking ourselves this question and honestly answer it. Is God satisfied with me?

Is my Master satisfied, is He satisfied with me? I am satisfied with Jesus; Is He satisfied with me? Am I kind in word, and tender? Am I all I ought to be? Am I always His defender? Is He satisfied with me? Do I tell the blessed story, of the Christ on Calvary, doing all for His own glory? Is He satisfied with me? My brothers and sisters in Christ, I am satisfied with Jesus, and I will tell you why, he pulled me from the miry clay and leads me every day, and as long as I obey Him, He’ll be satisfied with me. Thank you, Lord!

“Dear Redeemer, we would hallow, all Thy word so firm and true; in Thy footsteps meekly follow, Thy commands we love to do.”

“Every word Thy mouth hath spoken, is essential to our life; all Thy mandates love betoken, to oppose them is but strife. Each commandment Thou hast given, is a waymark on the road; leading up from earth to heaven, to the blessed throne of God. In Thy wisdom, Lord, confiding, we will follow in Thy way; with Thy love in us abiding, ’Tis delightful to obey. By Thy blessed word obeying, Lord, we prove our love sincere; for we hear Thee gently saying, love will do as well as hear.” Praise the Lord!

“He brought me out of the miry clay, He set my feet on the Rock to stay; He puts a song in my soul today, a song of praise, hallelujah!”

“My heart was distressed beneath Jehovah’s dread frown, and low in the pit where my sins dragged me down; I cried to the Lord from the deep miry clay, who tenderly brought me out to a golden day. He placed me upon the strong Rock by His side, my steps were established and here I’ll abide; no danger of falling while here I remain, but stand by His grace until the crown I gain. He gave me a song, was a new song of praise; by day and by night its sweet notes I will raise; my heart’s overflowing, I’m happy and free; I’ll praise my Redeemer, who has rescued me. I’ll tell of the pit, with its gloom and despair, I’ll praise the dear Father, who answered my prayer; I’ll sing my new song, the glad story of love, then join in the chorus with the saints above. He brought me out of the miry clay, He set my feet on the Rock to stay; He puts a song in my soul today, a song of praise, hallelujah!”

“But watch out! Be careful never to forget what you yourself have seen. Do not let these memories escape from your mind as long as you live! And be sure to pass them on to your children and grandchildren. Deuteronomy 4:9

My brothers and sisters in Christ, as we journey on with God, aspiring daily to walk in in footsteps, we will have much experiences; we will be challenged, we will be blessed, we will be persecuted, we will be tempted to go against all that the Lord commands; but, I want to encourage you this morning, to stand firm in the Rock of Christ, continue on to do his will, and Scripture reminds us, to take note of all that we have seen, of all that we have heard, of all that we have been through, and be sure to tell them to our children and our children’s children. That you may instill in them how good your God is, because in all this, he brought you out with a mighty hand. Praise the Lord!

And now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God by walking in all His ways, to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 10:12

“Now this is the commandment, the statutes and the judgments which the Lord your God has commanded me to teach you, that you might do them in the land where you are going over to possess it, so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the Lord your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life.”

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 9:10

“Instruct the wise, and they will be even wiser. Teach the righteous, and they will learn even more. For through wisdom your days will be multiplied, and years will be added to your life. The fear of the Lord prolongs life, but the years of the wicked will be shortened.”

Because we understand our fearful responsibility to the Lord, we work hard to persuade others. God knows we are sincere, and I hope you know this, too. 2 Corinthians 5:11

“Therefore, since we know what it means to fear the Lord, we try to persuade men; but not like so many others, who peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as men sent from God. We don’t do shameful things that must be kept secret. And we don’t try to fool anyone or twist God’s message around. God is our witness that we speak only the truth, so others will be sure we can be trusted.”

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Ephesians 4:29

Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore, do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. Ephesians 5:4-8

A new commandment I give you: “Love one another”. As I have loved you, so also you must love one another. John 13:34

Jesus commands us, that, we should love one another, and If at all possible, to live peaceably with all men. This assignment has challenged us more times that we could count, but we keep trying, because this is God’s will for us. Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to build each other up. For whoever serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men.

See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. 1 Thessalonians 5:15

“Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, do not say, I will avenge this evil! Wait on the Lord, and He will deliver you.”
