SALVATION! It is a free gift from God and whosoever will may come. Accept it today, tomorrow may be too late.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering towards us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, since we now know that all these things will be dissolved, we should be looking for and hastening the coming of the Lord, for He also promised us a new heaven and a new earth in which righteousness dwells; therefore, we should be looking forward to these things, being diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless, and consider that the longsuffering of the Lord is salvation. The time to accept salvation freely given is now, for we know not the day nor the hour that these things will come to pass, many doubt that they will because the story has been told forever, but understand this, that God promised that the day will come as a thief in the night, Therefore, watch and pray, for with the Lord, one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years one day.  WATCH AND PRAY!

My brothers and sisters in Christ may “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue. 2 Peter 1:2-3

Because of God’s promises to us we could escape the corruption that is in the world through lust, and be joined with Him, therefore, “For this very reason giving all diligence, we must add to our faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of God, for he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore brethren, be even more diligent to make your election sure, for if you do these things, you will never stumble.” Praise the Lord! He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue. Thank you, Lord!

“In some way or other the Lord will provide, it may not be my way, yet, in His own time, the Lord will provide.” If you believe that this morning, say, “Thank you, Lord!”

My brothers and sisters in Christ, God already knows your needs and mine and He has promised to supply. Will you trust Him? You may be despondent this morning, tired of your own groaning, fed up with the struggles of life, but hold on, because God promised to provide; it may not be your way or on your time, but trust Him and He will provide. Our God is an on-time God, He is a God who keeps His word, there was never a word that He has spoken that will ever be broken, therefore, trust in the Lord, and He will provide.

Peter amazed said, “You shall never wash my feet!” Jesus said to him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with me.” Simon Peter said, Lord, not my feet only but my hands and my head. Jesus then said to Peter, “He who is clean only needs to wash his feet, but you are clean, but not all of you.”

Jesus washed the feet of His disciples, but when He came to Peter who knew that he was about to betray Jesus, Peter said in disbelief, “Lord are you washing my feet!” He said to Peter, you are clean, but not all of you, and Simon Peter said, Lord, not my feet only, but my hands and my head. How many of us this morning are clean, but not all clean? How many of us need our hands, and head, and feet washed? My brothers and sisters in Christ, many of us appear clean on the outside but God knows our hearts, He knows the evil thought and desires within us, He knows that we are not always faithful to Him, but He is merciful and kind, He is willing to cleanse and make us whole, for He promised that, “Though our sins be like scarlet He will make white as snow, and though they be red like crimson, He will make them as wool. Wash us Lord in the cleansing blood of the lamb, create in us clean hearts and renew right spirits within us. Amen! Let us praise the Lord for His goodness and mercy towards us.

Return, backsliding Israel, says the Lord, and I will not cause my anger to fall on you for I am merciful, I will not remain angry forever, only acknowledge your iniquity, and that you have transgressed against the Lord your God. Jeremiah 3:12-13

What a mighty God we serve! Who on earth is like Him? Many of us have been done wrong by others and even after they have confessed and begged forgiveness, we find it hard to forget. Yet, God in His mercy is calling on all of us who have strayed from Him to return, and He promised, that if we only acknowledge our iniquity and that we have transgressed, that He will be merciful, that He will not remain angry with us forever. If God is so merciful to us, we should also try to be merciful to others. Many of us have perverted ways, we have walked out of God’s way, we have devised evil against our neighbor, we have spoken and done evil things, but, we have the promise of God, that if we will return to Him, and put away all abominations out of His sight, that we shall not be moved. Help us Lord!

“This is the day the Lord hath made, he calls the hours his own, let heaven rejoice, let earth be glad, and praise surround His throne.” Amen!

Dear Lord, we thank you for this new day, we thank you for the blessings it brings. Lord, many may have spent the night in pain, some may be fearful of what the new day will bring, but we are trusting you today for newness of life and a heart filled with fear of only you. Lord, this day is yours, every hour you have called your own, and we need not be sad, or fearful of what this day will bring forth, we only need to trust you for what we cannot see ahead, to rejoice and be glad, knowing that you are the giver of all good things, that we are your children and there is nothing good that you will withhold from us. So dear Lord, give us the strength and the courage to face this day with thanksgiving and praise, for this is the day that you have made and you will bless us in every hour that you have called your own. Thank you, Lord!

Hallelujah! Jesus saved me; I will forever tell the story, and I will give Him all the glory, for all His love to me.

“Life wears a different face to me, since I found my Savior, rich mercy at his feet I see, my kind and loving Savior. From oppression He has brought me, from its bonds He set me free, I will praise Him for His mercy, grace divine my song shall be. Doubts and fears have passed away, Jesus turned my night to day; Heaven now seems not far away, since I found my Savior.” Oh, glory be to God this morning, I am so thankful that Jesus saved me, that He is daily saving me, I will forever tell the story and I will give him all the glory, for all His love to me. Thank you, Lord!

“Have you any room for Jesus, He who bore your load of sin? As He knocks and asks admission, sinner, will you let him in?”

My brothers and sisters in Christ make room in your heart for Jesus this morning; He is knocking, He has been knocking a long time, swing your heart’s door wide open and bid him enter while you may. “Room for pleasure, room for business, but for Christ the crucified; not a place that He could enter in the heart for which he died. Have you any time for Jesus, as in grace He calls again? Oh, today is time accepted; tomorrow you may call in vain. Room and time now give to Jesus, soon will pass God’s day of grace; soon thy heart will be cold and silent, and the Savior’s pleading cease.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, it is so sad that we make time for everything else, and none for God, we open our hearts to accept the things of this world, and leave no room for God. I am pleading with you this morning, to answer God’s knock at your heart’s door today while you are still able to hear. Many think they have time, but time belongs to God. Make room in your heart for Jesus, when he calls you, answer, “Oh, come to my heart Lord Jesus, there is room in my heart for thee.” Praise the Lord!

Today O God, I will trust you for the things that I need, I will trust you and only believe that all things are possible with you, and that you have a way to break through. Therefore, have thine own way Lord, have thine own way with me.

“Trust God as a child of His love; trust God to guide you with His eye; trust God for the blessings of life for these He will supply. Trust God when the tempter is near; trust Him for grace to turn aside; trust God amidst the billows of life, a refuge to provide. Trust God at the coming of grief; trust Him to soothe its bitter pain; trust God amidst the burdens of life to strengthen and sustain. Trust God as you journey along; trust Him for grace to win the prize; trust God till you answer the call to meet Him in the skies.” Lord, we are trusting in you this morning for all of our needs, for with you all things are possible. Thank you, Lord!
