Jesus said to his disciples, “When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth, he will testify on my behalf, You are also to testify because you have been with me from the beginning.”

“When the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all truth, for he will no speak on his own but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, because he will take what is mine and declare it to you.” Praise the Lord!

Heavenly Father, today we pause to acknowledge and to be thankful for the gift of your holy Spirit. Father, breathe on us anew, fill us with your Holy Spirit so that we may love what thou dost love and to do what thou wouldst do. Amen!

“Breathe on me, breath of God, fill me with life anew, that I may love what Thou dost love, and do what Thou wouldst do. Breathe on me, breath of God, blend all my soul with Thine, until this earthly part of me, glows with Thy fire divine.”

Come Holy Spirit of Piety, possess my heart, incline it to a true faith in Thee, to a holy love of Thee, my God, that with my whole soul I may seek Thee and find in Thee my best and truest joy.

“Almighty God, you alone can bring into order the unruly wills and affections of sinners: grant your people grace to love what you command and desire what you promise; that, among the swift and varied changes of the world, our hearts may surely there be fixed where true joys are to be found; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!”

Come O Spirit of Fortitude, help me and guide me in all my ways, that I may always do Thy holy will. Incline my heart to that which is good, turn it away from all that is evil, and direct my path by they commandments tot he goal of eternal life. Amen!

“Lead me, guide me along the way; for if You lead me, I cannot stray; Lord, let me walk each day with Thee lead me, O Lord, lead me. I am weak, and I need Thy strength and power, to help me over my weakest hour; let me through the darkness Thy face to see, lead me, O Lord, lead me. I am lost, if you take your hand from me; I am blind, without Thy Light to see; Lord, just always let me Thy servant be, lead me, O Lord, lead me.”

Solomon said, “Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great people of yours?” 1 Kings 3

The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for wisdom. So God replied, “Because you have asked for wisdom in governing my people with justice and have not asked for a long life or wealth or the death of your enemies, I will give you what you asked for! I will give you a wise and understanding heart such as no one else has had or ever will have!  And I will also give you what you did not ask for riches and fame! No other king in all the world will be compared to you for the rest of your life! And if you follow me and obey my decrees and my commands as your father, David, did, I will give you a long life.” Teach us Lord, to ask aright!

Come O Spirit of Wisom, and reveal to my soul the mysteries of heavenly things, their exceeding greatness, and power, and beauty. Teach me to love them above and beyond all the passing joys and satisfactions of earth. Show me the way by which I may be able to attain them, and possess them, and hold them hereafter, my own forever. Amen!

“Teach me thy way, O Lord; teach me thy way! Thy guiding grace afford; teach me thy way! Help me to walk aright, more by faith, less by sight; lead me with heav’nly light; teach me thy way! When I am sad at heart, teach me thy way! When earthly joys depart, teach me thy way! In hours of loneliness, in times of dire distress, in failure or success, teach me thy way!  Long as my life shall last, teach me thy way! Where’er my lot be cast, teach me thy way! Until the race is run, until the journey’s done, until the crown is won, teach me thy way!”

Come O holy Ghost, the Lord and Life-giver; take up thy dwelling within my soul and make of it thy sacred temple. Make me live by grace as an adopted son and daughter of God. Distribute evenly all of the energies of my soul, and create in me a fountain of living water, springing up into everlasting life.

Have Thine one way Lord, have Thine own way, Thou art the potter, I am clay, mold me and make me after Thy will, while I am waiting yielded and still. Have Thine own way Lord, have Thine own way, hold over my being absolute sway, filled with Thy spirit till all can see, Christ only always living in me. Amen!

O Holy Spirit, thou Giver of every good and perfect gift, grant to me the intensions of this prayer reminder. May the Father’s will be done in me and through me. And may thou O mighty Spirit of the Living God, be praised and glorified for ever and ever. Amen.

“Come Holy Ghost, our souls inspire, and lighten with celestial fire, Thou the anointing Spirit art, who dost thy sevenfold gifts impart. Thy blessed unction from above, is comfort, life and fire and love, enable with perpetual light, the dullness of our blinded sight.”

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:1

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies. And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Jesus said, “You are my friends is you do what I command you. I do not call you servants any longer, because the servant does not know what the master is doing; but I have called you friends, because I have made know to you everything that I have heard from my Father.”

“You did not choose me, but I chose you, and I appoint you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask him in my name. I am giving you these commands, so that you may love one another.”
