Do you know? Do you know my Jesus? Have you heard the good news? He is alive! He is alive! Hallelujah!

Go, spread the good news that Jesus Christ is risen today. Spread the good news so that others could get ready to welcome him into their hearts. He lives, our Savior is still the same, what joy this blest assurance gives to know that our Redeemer lives!

 

Are you spreading the good news of Christ’s triumphant resurrection?

If you have not started, you need to begin now. There are many who are still watching the tomb where they laid him, they are still crying for him, but you need to let them know, that, he arose, he arose, hallelujah, Christ arose.

 

What have we done to deserve such a sacrifice as this; that Jesus laid down his life for us?

Jesus, we could never repay you, but we could live for you, because you lived, and you died, and you rose again on high, you opened the way for the world to live again, Hallelujah, for all you’ve done! We will spread the good news, “The Lord is risen indeed!” So that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! You died for us Jesus, now we will live for you. Thank you, Lord!

How will we celebrate this joyous Easter Season?

For many, Easter is just one day, but for us Christians Easter spans over 50 days until the day of Pentecost. Let us therefore be joyful, for our Lord is risen indeed. He has gained victory over death and the grave. Alleluia! The strife is o’re the battle done, the victory of life is won, the song of triumph has begun. Alleluia!

 

Do you want to have a closer relationship with God?

Jesus has been tugging at your heart, he has been begging you to come home. Why do you linger and heed not his mercy? Lord, may you hear my prayer this morning for those who are still lingering, to give them willing hands and feet for use in your service. Lord, only you can change unruly minds, only you can change our stubborn wills, so create a change Lord, and turn the hearts of all those who are lingering home to you. Thank you, Lord!

 

Jesus died for you, are you now willing to live for him?

My brothers and sisters in Christ, all it takes is one step at a time. God can still use you no matter where you have been or what you have done, all he requires is willing hands and feet. Begin to move closer to God and you will begin to understand that there is no limit as to what he can do for you. Live for Jesus, that’s what matters, so that others could see the light in you and come along. Praise the Lord!

 

How many of us are standing up for Jesus in this troubled world where Christians are persecuted daily?

My brothers and sisters in Christ, Jesus was crucified, beaten and scorned for spreading the good news,  for encouraging all to come to repentance for the Kingdom of Heaven is drawing near, he was despised by all just for who he was – our King. Scripture reminds us, that, if we are persecuted for righteousness sake, our reward will be great in heaven. Therefore, let us aim to speak the good news of Christ without fear or shame, and glorify our Father in heaven. Many are allowing institutions to dictate how they praise and worship God, many are being directing how and when to pray, many are allowing greed to prevent them from representing God the way they should, by being selective of the topics they preach on, so as not to offend the big spenders in their churches. But know this, if we are ashamed or the Gospel of Christ, Christ will be ashamed of us. We are reminded in Matthew chapter 10, ” If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.” Every day we are being sent out as sheep among wolves, but, be must be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Praise the Lord!

 

What does the old rugged cross mean to you? What does Calvary mean to you?

The old rugged cross has become an emblem, a reminder of the suffering and shame that Jesus bore for us, a reminder each time we sin, that we nail him to that old rugged cross, all over again. Lord, Calvary is a word that should quicken us, to say, Thank you, Lord. Calvary is a reminder that, it was there that your Son Jesus died to pardon and sanctify us, and by his stripes we are all healed.  Lord, may the Cross and Calvary be never far from our minds, let these two words bring fear and trembling to us, to know that Jesus died on the cross at Calvary for our sake, he died to make us good. Thank you, Lord!

My brothers and sisters in Christ, how clean are you this morning in the sight of the Lord? Wash and be washed.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, do you want to be washed? Lord, humble us, so that we would never object to being washed and made clean, and even though we are aware of those who are against us, that we may be able to wash their feet, and especially when we know what they are about to do. You have given us this wonderful example to follow, and if you our Master was able to do this great act in love, then we as servants of the Living God, should also be willing to wash the feet of others literally, physically, and figuratively. Praise the Lord!

The manner in which Judas betrayed Jesus was deceitful at best, because he was one of his own and he betrayed Jesus with a kiss.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, it’s not our enemies who betray us, most times it’s our best friends. Would you be willing to forgive them? Let us ask God for the spirit of forgiveness, so that we may be able to forgive those who trespass against us.
