Why do we continue to stumble despite all of God’s teachings?
We continue to stumble because we fail to walk uprightly, we fail to meditate daily on God’s word so that we could understand His precepts, that we may know His ways and walk in them. “If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it. Therefore, do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.” If you allow this, you will be sinning against the Lord; and you may be sure that your sin will find you out and you will continue to stumble. Who is wise? Let him understand these things.
Is it possible for you to get angry and not sin?
Oh yes! But, in order for us to be angry and not sin, it requires us to have abiding faith, to be rooted and grounded in God’s word, it requires of us to be sober and vigilant at all times, so that Satan might not outwit us, for we are not unaware of his schemes. Satan’s desire is to sift us like wheat, his desire is to lead us away from God, and that is why we must not give him any opportunity. When we get angry, we must immediately take a step back and remind ourselves, that, we are better than this, that we are stronger than this, that this situation will not be our downfall, but a situation that we would be able to learn something from, that this situation would give us opportunity when past, to tell someone else that, God is bigger than any problem that we can or cannot see. Praise the Lord!
Why is it so hard for others to see and acknowledged glory of the Lord!
My brothers and sisters in Christ, let us continue to spread the good news of Christ, let us continue to tell the world of his glories, his wonders and his awesome goodness, as many refuse to acknowledge him, but, the Lord has spoken. He said, “Then I will purify the lips of the peoples, that all of them may call on the name of the Lord and serve him shoulder to shoulder. Every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord, and the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God, as the waters cover the sea.”
Could you find a reason not to praise the name of the Lord?
I cannot. Therefore, I will bless the Lord at all times, I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised. There is power in there is power in the name of Jesus, there is healing in the name of Jesus, there is deliverance in the name of Jesus. O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth!
What do you think about Jesus?
I don’t know about you, but in my book, He’s alright. My Jesus is awesome. When I think of the many ways He shows His love to me, I am overwhelmed. Heavenly Father, teach me to love others as you love me, visit my heart Lord, and let your truth shine forth. Lord, you are the source of all my joys, show me how to love you more and more. Amen!
Are you obedient to the voice of the Lord?
The Lord has called us for different ministries, he has equipped us for good works. Why then are we still being rebellious? Why then, are we fearful and do not step out in faith? The same God who called us according to his purpose, will lead us and guide us, but we must be still in his presence and learn to listen to his voice. There is no path that he has prepared for us to walk in that he himself has not walked, there is not a word that he will give to us that he has not spoken, therefore, trust God, believe him that what he called you to do that he will see it through to completion. God’s plans for us are not plans to fail, but plans to prosper. Thank you, Lord!
What is holding you hostage, so that you cannot return to the Lord, your God?
My brothers and sisters in Christ, seek the Lord, be happy to know his ways, for the Lord is able to loosen the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to the let oppressed go free and to break every yoke. He is able to make your light break forth like the morning, and your righteousness to go before you. He will be your rear guard, and you shall call and he will answer, you shall cry and he will say, “Here I am.” Oh praise the Lord!
What is the promise of the Lord to those who fear him?
“He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless. Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays and you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.”
Do you believe that the Lord has forgotten you?
If you ever feel like God has forgotten you, remind yourself that our God is a God who always keeps his promises. He said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you, in the accepted time I have heard you, and will be with you.” God’s time is not our time, but he promised us also, that our weeping may endure for a night or two but that joy will come in the morning. Keep the faith and believe that God’s has you in the palm of his hands.
Do you desire peace like a river and your well-being like the waves of the sea?
Then, heed the word of the Lord, follow his commandments, walk faithfully in his ways and your descendants would be like the sand, and your offspring like its grains and their name would never be cut off or destroyed from the presence of the Lord and nothing will make you stumble.
