Are you still walking in darkness?

Come out from among them! Put away from you all evil deeds! You have been blinded by sin and the evil way for too long. My friends, Jesus is the light of the world and if you believe in Him, if you trust Him, accept His as the Light and He will be the light in your life that will never grow dim. Praise the Lord!

How happy were you when God moved you out of darkness to behold his marvelous light?

The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going, but, glory be to God, you were one of those people that walked in darkness and have now seen a great light. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light. Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

Why should we serve the Lord without fear?

My brothers and sisters in Christ, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. To fear the Lord is to worship Him, adore Him and to reverence Him. When we begin to serve the Lord without fear, he opens our eyes, he leads us in the paths that we should go, He encourages us to speak His word without fear or shame, He promised that he will protect us from the hands of the enemy and from the hands of all who hate us, but, we must serve Him in faithfully and fearfully in spirit and in truth.

Are your knees feeble this morning?

My brothers and sisters in Christ, if your knees are feeble this morning, trust in the Lord, believe on His word that He is able to strengthen feeble knees and let them stand. Every morning we awake, the world, the flesh and the Devil are before us, determined to cause us to lose our way, but know this morning, that, if you trust in the Lord, and believe on His word, that He will strengthen your feeble knees, so that you are able to stand. Amen!

Do you love God?

If you claim to love God, show love to your brothers and sisters. “By this we know that Christ loved us because he laid down his life for us, and we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. Whoever has this world’s goods and sees his brother in need and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? Let us not love in word or tongue but in deed and in truth.”

Is there any burden that you are carrying that Jesus cannot bear?

My brothers and sisters in Christ, Jesus is able, he is able to carry any burden too heavy for us to bear. God is able to hear a sinner’s prayer. God is able this morning to wash away your every tear. So, come, lay your griefs on Jesus, all your burdens and cares, he is able and will all your sorrows share. Thank you, Lord!

Will you continue to make God a liar and say that you have not sinned?

“My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin, but, if anyone sins, confess it, because, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. Now, by this we know that we know Him and he who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”

Are you being steadfast in all your ways?

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; the Lord hates pride, arrogance, the evil way and the perverted mouth. Too many of us seek to pull others down rather than lift them up. Scripture warns us about putting stumbling blocks in the paths of others. Too many of us are daily putting stumbling blocks in the paths of others; but know that the way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but he loves him who pursues righteousness. Be steadfast, unmovable in all your ways.

Do you desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy?

I wish that all of you could speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy, for he who prophesies is greater than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may be edified. The one who speaks in a tongue, edifies himself, but, the one who prophesies edifies the church. So then, let us pursue what leads to peace and to mutual edification.”

Are you being an example for the others in your midst?

One song writer said it so true, “I want to live the life I sing about!” Are you singing the life you are living? Scripture reminds us, that, we call God’s name repeatedly but our hearts are far from him. If we are to be examples for others, especially the youths, we must be examples in what we say and in the way we live.
