Did you forget to thank God today?

Lord, I may not remember all of the good things that you have done for me, they are too many I cannot recount them in order. But, today Lord, this moment, I am mindful of what you have done for me, I have so much to thank you for, but, most of all, I am just saying thank you for answered prayers, thank you for sustaining me all these years, thank you, that I did not give up, even though my faith wavered at times, but you always had a way of showing me that you have not forgotten me. Lord, help me to remember, that, your ways are not my ways nor your thoughts my thoughts, and teach to wait patiently, knowing that you always give me my fruits in due season. Thank you, Lord!

Thank You Lord for your mercy which is abundant!

Lord, please help us not to make your love too narrow, by false limits of our own, for your love so true and deep, is still more mightier that it seems. “There’s a wideness in God’s mercy, like the wideness of the sea; there’s a kindness in His justice, which is more than liberty.” Thank you, Lord!

How do you wait on the Lord!

Waiting on the Lord requires great faith, because when we make our petitions before God, we do not know when or where or how he will answer, we have to learn to listen to him in the still. God is always working our purpose out, many times we interrupt the process with our complaints and our groanings, and many time by rebelliousness. Lord, teach us to wait patiently on you, confident, that you will give us our fruits in due season.

If it had not been for the Lord on our side, if it had not been for the Lord on our sides, many of us would not have been here this morning. Let all the peoples say, “Amen!”

Lord, you are good! Lord, you are great! I will continually trust you with my whole heart, because you are my shield, my provider, and in you I find strength to go through anything. Thank you, Lord! I will never forget all that you brought me through or all that you have done for me, and will continually trust for all that you will do for me. Amen!

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people, from this time forth and forever more. Psalm 125:2

Heavenly Father, we are thankful, that no matter what we are facing that your love surrounds us like a shield. Thanks for your protection through the hurricane, thank you for deliverance after the hurricane. Lord, we trust in you, let us be like mount Zion which cannot be moved; and as we experience the effects of hurricane Matthew, as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Lord, surround Your people. All this we ask in your precious name. Amen!

Who are we? Are we the aroma of death leading to death, or the aroma of life leading to life?

Too many of us start out with all good intentions of being steadfast in Christ, but begin peddling the word of God, and as a result, we are no longer the fragrance of Christ, teaching his good word which leads to renewed life in Christ, but the aroma of death leading to death. We need to conduct ourselves in the world, in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshy wisdom which corrupts, but by the grace of God, which saves us, and others, who look up to us. Then, we will become the fragrance of Christ through which diffuses his knowledge throughout the whole wide world. Praise the Lord!

Are you doubtful of God’s abilities?

Judge not the Lord by your feeble sense, but trust Him for His grace, for behind a frowning providence, God hides a smiling face. My brothers and sisters in Christ, God’s purposes will ripen fast, right before your eyes, they will unfold every hour, so hold on, for right now, the bud may have a bitter taste, but sweet will be the flower. If you trust in your blind belief you will not see anything good, you will question the works of God, but, know that whatever God is purposing in your life right now, you may not understand it, because God is His own interpreter, and in the right time, He will make it plain. So, take courage, do not be afraid, for the clouds that you so much fear, are big with mercy and will break with blessings on your head. Praise the Lord!

Are we leading others astray by the lives we are living?

Too many of us claim to know God, but our hearts are far from him. But, know that God is not mocked, know that there is nothing hidden from God. When we proclaim to be God’s messengers, we should be delivering good news, we should be walking boldly, blamelessly; our conduct, our character and our conversations should always be acceptable before God. If we are saying one thing and doing another, there are those who will believe that what we are doing must be right, and will follow us, and therefore lose their way. Be careful of the life that you live, if you proclaim to be a messenger of God. It is an awful thing to fall into the hand of God. He assures us, that, “If anyone causes one of these little ones, those who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

Ask, seek and knock, you will find, you will receive, and doors will be opened to you.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, we have not because we ask not or we ask amiss. Let us then trust God for those things that he knows we need and wait for him to pour upon us the abundance of his mercy.

Will the Lord turn his back on you and will not hear you when you cry?

Certainly not! He said, “They shall come with weeping and with supplications I will lead them and cause them to walk by the rivers of waters, in a straight way in which they shall not stumble. For I am a Father to Israel and Ephraim is my first born. Therefore, they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, streaming the goodness of the Lord. Their souls shall be like a well-watered garden, and they shall sorrow no more at all.” Praise the Lord!
