“Come out from among them and be separated says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:16-18
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. For thus says the Lord, “I will dwell in them and walk among them, I will be there God and they shall be my people.” Praise the Lord!
Will you continue to walk in disobedience?
Lord, for too long, we have been walking in darkness, we have strayed like lost sheep, we are tired Lord, please bring us back to the fold. Show us how to delight ourselves in you, so that you could give us the desires of our hearts. Lord, have Thine own way, have Thine own way. You are the Potter and we are the clay. Make us over!
Do you pray to God only when you have a need?
Lord, we have so much more to be thankful for than the things we think we need. Help us to put our praise before our petitions. Let us be happy just to be in your presence, and not only come before you because of your merciful kindness.
Who is you Rock, your Hiding Place?
God is a Refuge for us. He is our Hiding Place. He hides us from storms and temptest wild, and releases all our fears. So, let us trust in God and believe on his promises, because whenever we need him he will always be there, he will be our Rock, our Hiding Place. Thank you, Lord!
Will God pay attention to my prayer? Yes, He will!
“Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live. We know that God does not listen to sinners, but He does listen to the one who worships Him and does His will.”
Are you surprised at the fiery trial that has come upon you?
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds. No discipline seems enjoyable at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it yields a peaceful harvest of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:11
Why is it that when we are facing difficult times, it so easy to withdraw from those around us?
Most times it’s our foolish pride that causes us to withdraw from those around us instead of reaching out. We are convinced, that, what we are facing is not common to anyone else, and we convince ourselves that things will change before anyone could realize that something is wrong. But, is this the right attitude for us to have? Absolutely not! My brothers and sisters in Christ, God does not always comes, but he sends help. May God help us to banish foolish pride and arrogance from our lives, and be open to the hand God sends to help us.
What has God done for you that is worthy of all the praise?https://prayersforeverydayliving.com/
Dear God, I am so thankful this morning for answered prayers, and for the many times over the past 15 years that I brought my petition before you, and you said, ‘WAIT!’ It has given me the chance to look back at all that came to pass, all that you carried us through over these years. The years have made us more trusting, more supportive of each other, more resilient, more accepting of situations that we cannot control, it has humbled us, it has made us more understanding of the trials of others, and it has made us more grateful and thankful to God. I just want to tell someone this morning, that, our God is an on-time God, and if you trust him and wait, he will turn your wilderness into pools of water, and your dry places into watersprings, and make you dwell there. Praise the Lord!
But let the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; let them also be merry and joyful. Psalm 68: 3
“Sing to God, sing praises to his name; exalt him who rides upon the heavens; Yahweh is his name, rejoice before him. Father of orphans, defender of widows, God in his holy habitation! You sent your gracious rain O God, upon your inheritance, you refreshed the land when it was weary; your people found their home in your goodness O God, you have made provisions for the poor. You give the solitary in homes and brings forth prisoners into freedom, but the rebels shall live in dry places.” Praise the Lord!
The Lord is for me; I will not fear; what can man do to me? Psalm 118:6
“Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; more than the sounds of many waters, than the mighty breakers of the sea, The Lord on high is mighty. The floods have lifted up, O Lord, The floods have lifted up their voice, The floods lift up their pounding waves.” To God be the glory!
