Do you believe that God will or could ever fail you?

“He’s never failed me yet, He’s never failed me yet, Jesus Christ never failed me yet. Everywhere I go, I want the world to know that Jesus Christ never failed me yet.” Thank you, Lord! I was singing this song all day yesterday, and the more I sang it, the more I realized just how wonderful my God is. I have failed Him so many times, yet, He has never failed me yet and He never will. I am on a mission to tell everyone who will hear just how good my God is; that, He always keeps His promises, that, He will always pick me up when I fall, He will pick you up when you fall, because He is able. Thank You, Lord!

“God make my life a little light, within the world to glow, a little flame that burneth bright, wherever I may go.”

“God make my life a little flower, that giveth joy to all, content to bloom in native bower, although the place be small. God make my life a little song, that comforteth the sad, that helpeth others to be strong, and makes the singer glad. God make my way a little staff, wherein the weak may rest, that so what health and strength we have, may serve my neighbors best. God make my life a little hymn, of tenderness and praise, of faith that never waxeth thin, in all His wondrous ways.” Thank you, Lord!

Are you ashamed of your testimony or the testimony of our Lord!

Too many of us got saved and stayed saved. We are afraid to share our testimonies, to talk about how God used our afflictions, to give us testimonies to help others. But, my friends, all of us who have been saved have testimonies to share; testimonies that could help someone else from walking along the same paths that would have destroyed us, but for the goodness of the Lord. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. So, do not be afraid or ashamed of where you have been, or what you have done, because it has empowered you to be an ambassador for Christ.  I am not ashamed, for I know in whom I have believed, and I am persuaded, that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him, until that Day.

If you live in the Spirit, will you also walk in the Spirit?

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such, there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another or envying one another. Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. But, if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by another. I say then, “Walk in the Spirit.” And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Blessed is the people who know the joyful sound, they shall walk O Lord in the light of your countenance. Psalm 89:15

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

Only those who love Jesus could really understand His love.

“Jesus Thy boundless love to me, no thought can reach, no tongue declare. Oh, knit my thankful heart to Thee, and reign without a rival there. Oh, grant that nothing in my soul, may dwell, but Thy pure love alone. Thine wholly Thine alone I am, inflame my heart with Your love, remove all coldness from my heart, and ever act, word, or thought, be of love.”

“Oh, give thanks unto the Lord for He is good, for His mercy endures forever!” Lord, today, I am truly thankful!

Dear Lord, your blessings on us are too numerous to recount in order, we are blessed in our going out and our coming in, we are blessed in our sitting and our rising. Lord, your blessings are continuous. Forgive us, Lord, for the many times that we have grumbled or complained, instead of saying, thank you, for all that you have given us, especially when we did not ask. Lord, we may not be perfect, but help us to be thankful. There is always something to be thankful for. What are you grateful for today?

“When the storms of life are raging, tempests wild on sea and land, I will seek a place of refuge, in the shadow of God’s hands. He will hide me, he will hide me, where no harm can e’re betide, he will hide me, safely hide me, in the shadow of His hands.” Thank you, Lord!

Thou art my hiding place O Lord, in Thee I put my trust, encouraged by Thy holy Word, a feeble child of dust. When storms of fierce temptation beat, and furious foes assail, my refuge is Thy mercy seat, my hope within the vail. From strife of tongues and bitter words, my spirit flies to Thee, joy to my heart the thought affords, my Savior died for me!”

Will the Lord forget the afflicted?

Certainly not! The Lord is a surety for those who are afflicted, for those who are persecuted, for those who are too weak to stand up and fight. His banner over them is love. He will pursue their righteous cause, he will cause the light of his countenance to be upon them, and his arm of love will surround them like a shield. “I know that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and justice for the poor. Surely, the righteous shall give thanks to Your name, the upright will dwell in Your presence.” Praise the Lord!

For who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now, if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it? 1 Corinthians 4:7

Psalm 34 reminds me, that; “My soul will make its boast in the Lord; the humble will hear it and rejoice.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, all that I have, all that I am, or ever hope to be, I owe it all to God. There is nothing that I own that he did not give to me, therefore, if I will boast, I will boast in the Lord. For I may have planted and watered, but God gave the increase. I may have planned, but only he could have made it come to pass. Thus says the Lord, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord who exercises loving-kindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares the Lord. Jeremiah 9: 23-24.
