Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever! Psalm 107:1

“Has the Lord redeemed you? Then speak out! Tell others he has redeemed you from your enemies. Give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the nations. Sing to him; yes, sing his praises. Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!”

Many times He rescued them, but they were bent on rebellion and sank down in their iniquity. Even so, he pitied them in their distress and listened to their cries. Psalm 106:43

“Yet He was compassionate; yes, the Lord forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them. He often restrained His anger and did not unleash His full wrath. He remembered his covenant with them and relented because of his unfailing love. Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! And let all the people say, Amen! Praise the Lord!  Save us, O Lord our God! Gather us back from among the nations, so we can thank your holy name and rejoice and praise you.”

Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. Lamentations 3:22-23

“The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him! The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth. Let him sit alone in silence when it is laid on him; for no one is abandoned by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion because of the greatness of his unfailing love; and he does not enjoy hurting people or causing them sorrow. Our fathers disciplined us for a short time as they thought best, but God disciplines us for our good, so that we may share in His holiness. Let us hold resolutely to the hope we confess, for He who promised is faithful.”

I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like a mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you. Isaiah 44:22

“I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free. Sing for joy, you heavens, for the Lord has done this; shout aloud, you earth beneath. Burst into song, you mountains, you forests and all your trees, for the Lord has redeemed Jacob, he displays his glory in Israel.”  Thank you, Lord!

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord; Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations; Noah walked with God. Genesis 6:8-9

“Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart were continuously evil, and the Lord was sorry that he had made man on the earth and he was grieved in his heart; so the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping things and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them”. But, Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord; Noah walked with God. My brothers and sisters in Christ, let us strive every day to be just and perfect in our times, to walk diligently with our God and not grieve his Holy Spirit and provoke him to anger. Let us continually do what is good and right in his sight, so that we may be found favorable in the eyes of the Lord.

Do not be angry, O Lord, beyond measure; do not remember our iniquity forever. Oh, look upon us, we pray; we are all Your people! Your sacred cities have become a wasteland; even Zion is a wasteland, Jerusalem a desolation. Isaiah 64:9-10

Wake up, wake up, O Zion! Clothe yourself with strength. Put on your beautiful clothes, O holy city of Jerusalem, for unclean and godless people will enter your gates no longer. Rise from the dust, O Jerusalem. Sit in a place of honor. Remove the chains of slavery from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. For this is what the Lord says: “You were sold for nothing, and without money you will be redeemed.” For you know now that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life you inherited from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. Thank you, Lord!

June 14th Ascribe to the Lord you gods, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength! Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his Name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Psalm 29

“The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of glory thunders; the Lord is upon the mighty waters. The voice of the Lord is a powerful voice; the voice of the Lord is a voice of splendor. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedar trees; the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon; He makes Lebanon skip like a calf, and Mount Hermon like a young wild ox. The voice of the Lord splits the flames of fire; the voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the Lord makes the oak trees writhe and strips the forests bare; and in the temple of the Lord all are crying, “Glory!” The Lord sits enthroned above the flood; the Lord sits enthroned as King for evermore. The Lord shall give strength to his people; the Lord shall give his people the blessing of peace.”

When you lived among them, you also used to walk in these ways. But now, you must put aside all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your mouth. Colossians 3:7-8

“Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us. Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tender-hearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony; and let the peace that comes from Christ, rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always being thankful, let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge. Psalm 62:8

My brothers and sisters in Christ, “Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper it only leads to harm. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.”

Trust in the Lord forever, because God the Lord is the Rock eternal. For He has humbled those who dwell on high, and He lays the lofty city low. He brings it down to the ground; He casts it into the dust. Isaiah 26:4-5

“O Lord, be gracious to us! We wait for You. Be our strength every morning and our salvation in time of trouble. Do not hold past sins against us; let Your compassion come quickly, for we are brought low. Help us, O God of our salvation! Help us for the glory of your name. Save us and forgive our sins for the honor of your name.”
