Let us go to His dwelling place; let us worship at His footstool. Psalm 132:7

But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy. In fear of You, I will worship toward Your holy temple. Lead me O Lord in Your righteousness; make Your way straight before my face. Psalm 5:7-8

In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. John 1:14

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

But I will hope continually in the Lord and will praise Him more and more. My mouth shall tell of His righteousness and His salvation all the day long, for I do not know their limits, I will go in the strength of the Lord. Psalm 71:14-16

Lord, we limit You because we do not trust You. We are weak and afraid when troubled times come. We are distressed and downtrodden, because our hope in You in misplaced. But, teach us good Lord, to come to know You in an intimate way, so that we could trust You at every turn, and have our confidence in You restored. Lord, we do not know or could ever comprehend Your limits, but your thoughts towards us are for good. Thank you, Lord!

I will sing to the Lord as long as I live, I will sing praises to my God, while I have my being, my meditation will be sweet in Him, I will be glad in the Lord! Psalm 104:33-34

My brothers and sisters in Christ, being happy is a choice, being joyful in the Lord is a command. I have chosen to be happy and my heart is glad, because I am joyful in the Lord. My troubles don’t control me, my faith in God sustains me. So why should I worry or complain when the joy of the Lord is my strength? He goes before me to make all my wildernesses pools of water, He answers me from the secret place of the thunder, He removes my shoulder from the burden, His love surrounds me like a shield to protect me, He feeds me with the finest wheat and satisfies me with honey from the Rock. Thank you, Lord!

Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Psalm 103:1

We could find so much to worry about each day, but why worry when we know how to pray! Lord, in this dark world of sin, which seeks to rob us of our peace and joy, show us how to live under the shadow of Your wings, clothe us with your peace, bless us with Your grace, so that in all things and at all times, we could come to You in prayer and find peace there; so that we could shout from the rooftop; “Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is within me, bless His holy name!”

Every morning I awake I am so full of praise to God. First, I am thankful for his love, thankful for the joy of a new day, and I ask for his peace and grace, as I enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, every day is another opportunity to bless the Lord. “Give to the Lord the glory due His name, give to the Lord glory and strength, honor and majesty are before Him, strength and beauty are in His sanctuary, declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.”

Oh worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness, tremble before Him all the earth, let the heavens rejoice and let the earth be glad, for the Lord is great and greatly to be praised. Psalm 95

Heavenly Father, we come before you this morning full of thanks and praise, for all the good things that we enjoy, the works your hands have made;, and we give you all the honor and glory and praise, we will  proclaim the good news of Your salvation from day to day, because you are worthy, You O Lord are great, and greatly to be praised.

Shout joyfully to the Lord all the earth, break forth in song and sing praises; for all the end of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. Psalm 98

We have so much to be thankful for, even though at times we seem so dishearten. My brothers and sisters in Christ, when life gets you down, stand up, and shout joyfully to the Lord, break forth in song and sing praises to God, because you are not like those who have not seen the goodness of the Lord, you have seen the salvation of our God. Praise the Lord!

Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound, they walk in the light of Your countenance, in Your name they rejoice all day long, and in Your righteousness they are exalted. Psalm 89: 15-16

Have you recently met someone who just seemed like a breath of fresh air? Or being in the presence of someone and really enjoying their company? My brothers and sisters in Christ, as Christians, this is the way that others should perceive us, because we know the joyful sound, we walk in the light of God’s countenance, and therefore, our hearts should be glad and full of light, we should be able to rejoice in the Lord all the day long.

Lord, you have washed me white as snow, you’ve predestined the way I should go, so every day just draw me closer, let me always walk with You. Thank you, Lord!

“Thou my everlasting Portion, more than friend or life to me, all along my pilgrim journey, Savior, let me walk with Thee, close to Thee, close to Thee, all along my pilgrim journey, Savior, let me walk with Thee. Not for ease or worldly pleasure, not for fame my prayer shall be, gladly I will toil and suffer, only let me walk with Thee. Lead me through the vale of shadows, bear me o’re life’s fitful sea, then the gate of life eternal, may I enter Lord with Thee.”
