Will You not Yourself revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? Psalm 85:6

“Show us your faithful love, Lord, and give us your salvation, that we may see the prosperity of Your chosen ones, and rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, and give glory with Your inheritance.”

Lord, will You not Yourself revive us again, so that Your people may rejoice in You? Psalm 85:6

“Show us your faithful love, Lord, and give us your salvation, that we may see the prosperity of Your chosen ones, and rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, and give glory with Your inheritance.”

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at last, your care for me has flourished again. Philippians 4:10

Lord, please show me how to stand in the gap for someone in need this morning. Help me to understand that a blessing shares is a blessing multiplied.

God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. 1 Peter 5:5

Therefore, humble your selves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your cares upon him for he cares for you, be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. But if we are steadfast in faith, we will find strength to resist all the assaults of the enemy.

“If the righteous one is scarcely saved, where will the sinner and the ungodly appear?”

“Therefore, let those who suffer according to the will of God, commit their souls to Him, in doing good as to a faithful Creator. Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion, but willingly, not for dishonest gains, but eagerly, not as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. If anyone speaks, let him speak the forewarnings of God, if anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Christ Jesus, for only what’s done for Christ will last.”

If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part he is blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified. 1 Peter 4:14

My brothers and sisters in Christ, we will be reproached for the name of Christ. “But, let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or a busybody in other people’s business. Yet, if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God, and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?”

Today I am celebrating 16 years in God’s vineyard.

“But the end of all things is at hand; therefore, be serious and watchful in your prayers. For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.”

My brothers and sisters in Christ, “We have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. But now that we have returned to God, they rebuke us, they think it strange that we do not run in the same flood of dissipation and speak evil of us. But we were already warned of this. Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing has happened to you, but rejoice to the extent that you partake in Christ’s sufferings, that when his glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 1 Peter 4

For it is better if it is the will of God to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. 1 Peter 3:17

“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the spirit. Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lust of men, but for the will of God.”

My ambition has always been to preach the Good News where the name of Christ has never been heard, rather than where a church has already been started by someone else. Romans 15:20

Lord, there are so many people who still do not know you, so we have work to do; because every knee must bow and every tongue must confess you, as Lord. Therefore, I pray Heavenly Father, that you will broaden my horizon, enlarge the path beneath me, so that I carry the Good News to those who do not know you. Lord, when I wrote my first book,  I asked you to take it to the ends of the earth, and you have heard me, so now I am asking you dear Lord, to help me to reach those places and people face to face, to bring them Good Tidings of your Good News. All this I ask in your precious name. Amen!
