My mouth will declare the praise of the Lord; let every creature bless His holy name forever and ever. Psalm 145:21

“Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty. I will exalt You, my God and King; I will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, and I will praise Your name forever and ever. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Hallelujah!”

For the Lord God is a sun and a shield; the Lord gives grace and glory; He withholds no good thing from those who walk with integrity. Psalm 84:11

“For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. The Lord does not let the righteous go hungry, but He denies the craving of the wicked.”

“Oh, make but trial of God’s love, experience will decide, how blessed are they, and only they, who in his truth confide.”

“Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord, and who in his truth confide.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, if you have not yet experienced God’s love, put his love to the test. Trust him for something you desperately need and watch him work.

“The hosts of God encamp around, the dwellings of the just, and deliverance he affords to all, who on his succor trust.”

If you are confident this morning that the host of God encamps around your dwelling, shout ‘Thank you, Lord!’

“Through all the changing scenes of life, in trouble and in joy, the praises of my God shall still, my heart and tongue employ.”

If we are able to praise God through all the changing scenes of life, it shows spiritual maturity. My brothers and sisters in Christ, let us continually praise God, through all that we will go through this year.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Psalm 23

My brothers and sisters in Christ, if we claim that the Lord is our shepherd, why are we always in want? Scripture reminds us that even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack nothing good . Are we not trusting God enough? Or are we craving things that God did not intend for us to have? Let us learn to make our petitions to God and wait. He knows what we need and most importantly when we need it.

I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. Psalm 62:1

“The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their stronghold in time of trouble.  The Lord redeems His servants, and none who take refuge in Him will be condemned.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, wait patiently on the Lord, and in his word put your hope.

Truly I tell you,” He said, “unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:13

“A highway shall be there, shall be called the Holy Way, the unclean shall not travel on it, but it shall be for God’s people; no traveler, not even fools shall go astray, no lion shall be there, and the ransomed of the Lord shall return and come to Zion with singing, everlasting joy shall be upon their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, let us do all that we can, so that we may enjoy the kingdom of heaven.

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34

“Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good. Fear the Lord, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing good.”

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

“Brothers, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be mature. Do good to all and your reward will come from God.”
