For he who would love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit. 1 Peter 3:10

“Finally , all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another, love as brothers, be tender -hearted, be courteous, not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, blessing, knowing that you were called to this, they you may inherit a blessing.”

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. Galatians 6:7

“I am not writing this to shame you, but to warn you as my beloved children.  As I have observed, those who plow iniquity and those who sow trouble reap the same. Their violence has grown into a rod to punish their wickedness. None of them will remain, none of their multitude, none of their wealth, and nothing of value. They will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes.”

“Watch out!” Jesus told them. “Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Matthew 16:6

The disciples talked this over and said to each other, “He must be saying this because we didn’t bring along any bread.” But Jesus, aware of this, said, “O you of little faith, why are you discussing among yourselves the fact that you have no bread? Then they understood that he was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Matthew 16:12

Your boasting about this is terrible. Don’t you realize that this sin is like a little yeast that spreads through the whole batch of dough? 1 Corinthians 5:6

Do not be misled, Bad company corrupts good character. Think carefully about what is right, and stop sinning. For to your shame I say that some of you don’t know God at all. 1 Corinthians 15:33-34

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, or set foot in the path of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers. Psalm 1

“I meant that you are not to associate with anyone who claims to be a believer yet indulges in sexual sin, or is greedy, or worships idols, or is abusive, or is a drunkard, or cheats people. Don’t even eat with such people. Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from any brother who leads an undisciplined life, that is not in keeping with the tradition you received from us.”

Why do the wicked live on, growing old and increasing in power? Job 21:7

“For I envied the proud when I saw them prosper despite their wickedness. They seem to live such painless lives; their bodies are so healthy and strong. They don’t have troubles like other people; they’re not plagued with problems like everyone else, they wear pride like a jeweled necklace and clothe themselves with cruelty. But, although the pride of the godless person reaches to the heavens and his head touches the clouds, yet they will vanish forever, thrown away like their own dung. Those who knew them will ask, ‘Where are they?’”

The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help. Psalm 34:15

“You have heard, O Lord, the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their hearts. You will incline Your ear.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, let us humble ourselves before God, let us do right, so that his ears will be open to our cries, so that God will strengthen our hearts to endure the trials and tribulations that we go through. All we need to do, is to wait patiently on the Lord, and he will give us the desires of our hearts.

Cast all your worries and cares on Jesus because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

“Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own. Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you. He will never let the righteous be shaken.”

You are in a good place if you could just have a praise for God and no complaints. (PFEL)

Where do I begin to praise God today? I feel so good just to be in His presence. I have a smile on my face and a song in my heart. Today, I am feeling spiritually wealthy. I have nothing but praise for God. Lord, look where you brought me from! A few months ago, I was singing but not so sweetly. I now feel free in spirit, mind, and body. I sit here trying to find something wrong in my life to pray for, and I have nothing but praise on my lips. I am so thankful when I remember all that the Lord has done for me. (Excerpt from PFEL)

Lord, I just want to thank you, for all that you have done and continue to do in my life. Every day, please give me more reasons to celebrate you.

“To God be the glory! Great things He has done! So loved He the world that He gave us His Son; who yielded His life an atonement for sin, and opened the life-gate that all may go in. Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Let the earth hear His voice! Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! Let the people rejoice! O Come to the Father, through Jesus the Son, and give Him the glory! Great things He has done!”
