‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take Him at His Word, just to rest upon His promise, just to know, “Thus saith the Lord!” Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er! Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

“I’m so glad I learned to trust Him, precious Jesus, Savior, Friend, and I know that He is with me, will be with me to the end. Oh, how sweet to trust in Jesus, just to trust His cleansing blood, and in simple faith to plunge me, ‘Neath the healing, cleansing flood! Yes, ‘Tis sweet to trust in Jesus, just from sin and self to cease, just from Jesus simply taking, life and rest, and joy and peace.”

“Thy way, not mine, O Lord, however dark it be; lead me by thine own hand, choose out the path for me.” I am trusting you, Lord!

Lord, “I dare not choose my lot; I would not if I might; choose thou for me, my God, so shall I walk aright. Smooth let it be or rough, it will be still the best; winding or straight, it leads right onward to thy rest. The kingdom that I seek is thine, so let the way that leads to it be thine, else I must surely stray. Choose thou for me my friends, my sickness or my health; choose thou my cares for me, my poverty or wealth. Not mine, not mine, the choice, in things both great or small; be thou my guide, my strength, my wisdom, and my all.” Lead me, Lord!

Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound. They walk O Lord in the light of Your countenance. In Your name they rejoice all the day long. Psalm 89:15-16

Heavenly Father, I am so glad that I know the joyful sound, and I am singing Your praises all the day long. You have shown me your marvelous kindness in so many ways, how can I ever forget to thank You Lord! Make me to always hear the joyful sound. Amen!

I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever. With my mouth, I will make known Your faithfulness to all generations. Psalm 89:1

“The heavens will praise Your wonders, O Lord, Your faithfulness also in the assembly of saints. For who in the heavens can be compared to the Lord? God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be held in reverence by all those around Him. O Lord God of hosts, who is Mighty Like You?”

“I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore.”

For great is Your mercy toward me, You, have delivered my soul from the depths of hell. You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion and gracious, long-suffering and abundant in mercy and truth. Give strength to Your servant. Show me a sign for good, so that those who hate me may see it, and be ashamed; because You Lord, have helped me and comforted me. Psalm 86

For to You O Lord, I lift up my soul. For You Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. Psalm 86:5

“Give ear O Lord, to my prayer, and attend to the voice of my supplications. In the days of trouble, I will call upon You, for You will answer. Among the gods, there is none like You, O Lord, nor are there any works like Your works.” You deserve our praise!

Teach me Your way O Lord; I will walk in Your truth. Unite my heart to fear Your name. Psalm 86:11

“Teach me Thy way, O Lord, teach me Thy way! Thy guiding grace afford, teach me Thy way! Help me to walk aright, more by faith, less by sight; Lead me with heavenly light, teach me Thy way! Teach me Thy way O Lord, teach me Thy way! Long as my life shall last, teach me Thy way! Where ever my lot is cast, teach me Thy way! Until the race is run, until the journey’s done, until the crown is won, teach me Thy way!”

Blessed is the man whose strength is in you, whose heart long to travel the roads that lead to your temple! Psalm 84:5

“Oh, Lord of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in you, they go from strength to strength. No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”

I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide and I will fill it. Psalm 81:10

“But My people would not heed My voice, and Israel would have none of Me, so I gave them over to their own stubborn heart; to walk in their own counsels. Oh, that My people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in My ways! I would soon subdue their enemies and turn My hand against their adversaries. I would have fed them with the finest wheat, and with honey from the rock. I would have satisfied you!”

Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his mercy, to deliver their soul from death and to keep them alive in famine. Psalm 33:18-19

“Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name. Let Your mercy O Lord, be upon us, just as we hope in You.”
