The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. Psalm 18:30 and 2 Samuel 22:31

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; lean not to your own understanding, but in always acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5,6

But the Lord was my support, he also brought me out into a broad place, he delivered me because he delighted in me. Psalm 18:18

“It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, and sets me on my high places. The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted.”

Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God. Psalm 146:5

“He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them, he remains faithful forever. He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down.” He is all we need.

Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, my soul! I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. Psalm 146

“Praise my soul the King of Heaven, to His feet thy tribute bring; ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven, evermore his praises sing. Alleluia! Alleluia! Praise the Everlasting King. Praise him for his grace and favor to his people in distress. Praise him, still the same as ever, slow to chide, and swift to bless. Alleluia, alleluia! Glorious in his faithfulness.”

My brothers and sisters in Christ, we must be encouragers to one another, for these are challenging times and we all need each other. Every day, we are faced with a different crisis; but those who are strong in the Lord and faithful will survive.

Scripture reminds us in Isaiah chapter 35, that, we must strengthen weak hands and make firm the feeble knees, to say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear, for God will come with vengeance to save you.’ Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped, then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing. They shall see the glory of the Lord, the excellency of our God. Praise the Lord!

“Master, speak! and make me ready, when thy voice is truly heard, with obedience glad and steady, still to follow ev’ry word. I am listening, Lord, for thee, Master, speak, oh speak to me!”

Lord, this morning, I pray that all of us who hear your voice will be obedient to your word. Make us willing, make us ready Lord, to follow Your voice where it leads us. I am listening this morning Lord, Master speak, oh speak to me. Amen!

“Master, speak! tho’ least and lowest, let me not unheard depart; Master, speak! for oh, thou knowest all the yearning of my heart, knowest all its truest need; speak! and make me blest indeed.”

Too many of us hear the word, we know for sure that the direction is from God, but we have hardness of heart, we depart from the word that was given to sustain us. My brothers and sisters in Christ, God knows all the yearnings of our hearts, and when we call upon his name he will speak and make us blessed indeed. Thank you, Lord!

“Speak to me by name, O Master, let me know it is to me; speak, that I may follow faster, with a step more firm and free; where the Shepherd leads the flock, in the shadow of the Rock!”

You know, sometimes we get a word from God, but we do not know if that word is for us, or for someone else. Therefore, whenever we come into God’s presence and we receive a word, we must ask God if he is speaking directly to us, so that we could follow where He leads us. Amen!

“Master, speak! thy servant heareth, waiting for thy gracious word, longing for thy voice that cheereth, Master, let it now be heard. I am list’ning, Lord, for thee; what hast thou to say to me?”

How many of us sit quietly in God’s presence and ask for His advice? Every day when I awake, I ask God for direction, for guidance and protection, and for His footsteps to be my pathway. Humble us, Lord, so that we could hear Thy gracious word, and Thy voice that will cheer us, no matter what we are going through. Help us, Lord, to not only learn to sit quietly in your presence, but for the ability to listen. All this we ask in your precious name. Amen!

Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. John 5:24

Whoever listens to you listens to Me; whoever rejects you rejects Me, and whoever rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me. Luke 10:16
