“This world is not my home, I’m just a-passing through, my treasures are laid up, somewhere beyond the blue; the angels beckon me from heaven’s open door, and I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.”

“Oh Lord, you know, I have no friend like you, if heaven’s not my home, then Lord what will I do. The angels beckon me from heaven’s open door, and I can’t feel at home, in this world anymore. Just over in Gloryland, we’ll live eternally, the saints on every hand, are shouting victory. Their songs of sweetest praise, drift back from heaven’s shore, and I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.”

“Where do I go from here? What fate is drawing near? Touch my heart and guide my lips in prayer. Through the grace of God alone, I’ll cast aside these fears I’ve known and lift myself from the depths of deep despair.”

“Please lead me through the darkness, and through each gloomy day; take my hand, oh, precious Lord,
and help me on my way. Give me strength that I might find, abiding faith and peace of mind,
and I won’t ask where do I go from here?” One of my sister’s favorites eh!

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High abides under the shadow of the Almighty.”

He who is under the shadow of the Almighty shall say to the Lord. You are my refuge and my stronghold, my God in whom I put my trust. “And because you have made the Lord your refuge and the Most High your habitation, there shall no evil happen to you, neither shall any plagues come near your dwelling, for he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all his ways. Psalm 91

“Some glad morning when this life is over, I’ll fly away, to a home on God’s celestial shore, I’ll fly away, I’ll fly away, oh, Glory, I’ll fly away, when I die, Hallelujah, by and by, I’ll fly away.”

“Just a few more weary days and then, I’ll fly away, to a land where joy shall never end, I’ll fly away, I’ll fly away, oh, Glory, I’ll fly away, when I die, Hallelujah, by and by, I’ll fly away, yeah, when I die, Hallelujah, by and by I’ll fly away.”

The Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, with a terrifying display of power, and with signs and wonders; and he brought us into this place, and gave us this land, flowing with milk and honey. Deuteronomy 26:8-9

It’s amazing the wonderful things that God continues to do for us, the signs and wonders he reveals in our lives, and after he brings us out, we forget. My brothers and sisters in Christ, when God blesses us, let us remember, to bring him the first fruits from those blessings, to us and to our house. We should make it a habit to set it down before the Lord our God, and give him thanks and praise.

“Weeping may endure for a night or two but joy will come in the morning.” I believe that.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:14

“New every morning is the love our wakening and uprising prove; through sleep and darkness safely brought, restored to life and power and thought.” Too many awake each day and take it for granted, forgetting that it was God’s mercy.

 “New mercies, each returning day, hover around us while we pray; new perils past, new sins forgiven;
new thoughts of God, new hopes of heaven. Only, O Lord, in thy dear love, fit us for perfect rest above;
and help us, this and every day, to live more nearly as we pray.” I am so thankful dear Lord, that I have learned to take none of your mercies for granted, and that I am closer drawn to you each and every day. Thank You, Lord!

Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help. Matthew 25:35

“If you remove the yoke from among you, the pointing of the finger, the speaking of evil, if you offer your food to the hungry and satisfy the needs of the afflicted, then your light shall shine in the darkness,  and your gloom, be like the noonday. The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your needs in parched places, and make your bones strong and you shall b like a watered garden like a spring of water, whose waters never fail.”

For He says, at the acceptable I have listened to you, and on a day of salvation I have helped you. See, now is the acceptable time, see, now is the day of salvation. 2 chronicles 5

“Beloved, we entreat you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God. For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that we might become the righteousness of God. As we work together with Him, we urge you also not to accept the grace of God in vain.”

“And until then my heart will go on singing, until then with joy I carry on, until the day mine eyes behold the City until the day God calls me home.”

“Safe in the arms of Jesus, safe on His gentle breast, there by His love o’ershadowed, sweetly her soul shall rest. Hark! ’tis the voice of angels, borne in a song to me, over the fields of glory, over the jasper sea. Safe in the arms of Jesus, safe on His gentle breast, there by His love o’ershadowed, sweetly her soul shall rest.”
