I am fully convinced, my dear brothers and sisters, that you are full of goodness. You know these things so well you can teach each other all about them. Romans 15:14

Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God. You must warn each other every day, while it is still “today,” so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God. Hebrews 3

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains and have not charity, I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:2

“For in Him you have been enriched in every way, in all speech and all knowledge; but just as you excel in everything, in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness, and in the love we inspired in you, see that you also excel in this grace of giving. Charity begins at home and ends abroad.”

“They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.  This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.”

“Now, he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.  You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us, your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. 2 Corinthians 9

He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So, let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”

The Lord will work out his plans for my life. O Lord, Your loving devotion endures forever; do not abandon the works of Your hands. Psalm 138:8

“For we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. And I am certain, that God, who began the good work within you, will sustain you to the end so that you will be blameless, and will also continue his work in you until it is finally finished, on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”

Blessed be God who has not rejected my prayer, nor withheld his love from me. Psalm 66:17

“Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will tell you what he has done for me. I called out to him with my mouth and his praise was on my tongue. If he had found evil in my heart, the Lord would not have heard me. But in truth, God has heard me, he has attended to the voice of my prayer.” As long as I live, I will give God thanks for all that he has done for me, and I will continue to walk uprightly so that when I pray, my prayers will be heard. Thank you, Lord!

Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous, it is good for the just to sing praises. Sing for him a new song. Psalm 33

“O for a thousand tongues to sing, my great Redeemer’s praise, the glories of my God and King, the triumphs of his grace! Jesus! the name that charms our fears, that bids our sorrows cease, ’tis music in the sinner’s ears, ’tis life and health, and peace. My gracious Master and my God, assist me to proclaim, to spread thro’ all the earth abroad, the honors of Your name.” Amen!

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So, we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17,18

“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. All this is for our benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. Thanks be to God!

“Make me a blessing, make me a blessing, out of my life may Jesus shine; make me a blessing, O Savior, I pray; make me a blessing to someone today.”

“Out in the highways and byways of life, many are weary and sad; carry the sunshine where darkness is rife, making the sorrowing glad. Tell the sweet story of Christ and his love, tell of his power to forgive; others will trust him if only you prove, true, every moment you live. Give as ’twas given to you in your need, love as the Master loved you; be to the helpless a helper indeed, unto your mission be true.” Lord, may each one of us today find someone to whom we could be a blessing. Lord, make me a blessing to someone today.

I have been young, and now am old; yet, I have never seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging for bread. Psalm 37:25

Praise the Lord! Happy are they who fear the Lord, and delight greatly in His commandments. Their descendants will be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. They will never be shaken; the righteous will be kept in an everlasting embrace. They will not be afraid of any evil rumors; their heart is right; they put their trust in the Lord. Psalm 112
