The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him, so it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord. And it is good for people to submit at an early age to the yoke of his discipline. Lamentations 3
Lord, I am so thankful that I was never far from you or you from me. For you have shown me your loving kindness, even at times when I trained myself to walk in my own willful way, but at the appointed time, you caused me to submit myself to the yolk of your discipline and it has been good for me. Continue to correct me with kindness, continue to lead me in your pathway; for to walk with you is right and to follow you is light. Thank you, Lord!

If my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
