The tongue of the righteous is choice silver, but the heart of the wicked has little worth. Proverbs 10:20

But I tell you that everyone will have to give an account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. Matthew 12:35

“While man is looking at our outward appearances, God is looking at our hearts.”

Let us not allow what others may say about us to deter us from spreading the good news, because we know full well, that while man is looking at our outward appearances, God is looking at our hearts.

Many of us try so hard to justify our value to ourselves and to others. But you should understand this, that, if you are a Christian, your value has been justified by God, scripture reminds us, that if we have trusted Christ for salvation we are already justified in Him. Amen!

“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”. Romans chapter five reminds us, that we are freely justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus. My brothers and sisters in Christ, we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, therefore, I will not justify myself before men, because I know that I have already been justified by faith, which is a gift from God. Old things are passed away and I am born again. Praise the Lord!

“The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? I am leaning on the everlasting arm.”

“What have I to dread, what have I to fear, leaning on the everlasting arms; I have blessed peace with my Lord so near, leaning on the everlasting arms. Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms; leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms.”

“Oh, how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way, leaning on the everlasting arms; oh, how bright the path grows from day to day, leaning on the everlasting arms. Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms; leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, when I was walking in my own willful way, seeking the pleasures of this world, the joy was fleeting, but now that I am walking in this pilgrim way, the joys get sweeter and sweeter every day, and my path grows brighter each and every day, as I continue on, leaning on the everlasting arms. To God be the glory!

“What a fellowship, what a joy divine, leaning on the everlasting arms; what a blessedness, what a peace is mine, leaning on the everlasting arms. Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms; leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms.”

Heavenly Father, we are so thankful that we could confidently lean on you in times of trouble, we could trust you knowing that in all things, and in all circumstances, that you are always there to catch us lest we fall; and at times when we are allowed to fall for our own good, we know that you O Lord are able to pick us up from the depths of despair and securely enfold us. Thank you, Lord!

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5,6

O God, too many times we lean to our own understanding because the way seems right to us, we forget O God that our thoughts are futile at best, we contend with you by doing things our own way, but in your own time O Lord, you bring under subjection, in that you cause us to stumble. But we are reminded in Proverbs chapter twenty-eight, that He who trusts in himself is a fool, but one who walks in wisdom will be safe. Therefore, teach us thy way O Lord, and lead us in your righteousness. Amen!

For our earthly fathers disciplined us for a few years, doing the best they knew how. But God’s discipline is always good for us so that we might share in his holiness. Hebrews 12:10

“I know, Lord, that your laws are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me. Before I was afflicted, I went astray; but now I keep Your word. It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.” To God be the glory!
