For the word of the Lord is upright, and we can trust everything he does. Psalm 33:4

“’Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take Him at His Word, just to rest upon His promise, just to know, “Thus saith the Lord”, Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him, how I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er, Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus, oh, for grace to trust Him more.”

Who is he who speaks and it comes to pass when the Lord has not commanded it? Lamentations 3:37

“For He spoke, and it came to pass; He commanded, and it stood firm. Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created.”

Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you Psalm 37:5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom, but the perverse tongue shall be cut out. Proverbs 10:31

Do not boast so proudly, or let arrogance come from your mouth, for the Lord is a God who knows, and by Him actions are weighed. 1 Samuel 2:3

Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Proverbs 3:7

“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth I hate.”

Your words have steadied those who stumbled; you have braced the knees that were buckling. But now when trouble strikes, you lose heart. You are terrified when it touches you. Job 4

My brothers and sisters in Christ, “Is not your fear of God your confidence, and the integrity of your ways your hope?” It is so easy for us to provide comfort to others in times of trouble, but when that same type of trouble knocks on our door, we lose heart. We must be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might, because he promised, that, he will never see the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging for bread, and we serve a God who cannot lie. Keep the faith!

If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. Proverbs 24:10

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. Martin Luther King, Jr. How strong is your faith in times of adversity?

“All You have made will give You thanks, O Lord, and Your saints will bless You.”

“For the beauty of the earth, for the glory of the skies, for the love which from our birth over and around us lies; Lord of all, to thee we raise, this our hymn of grateful praise.”

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, persistent in prayer. Romans 12:12

“Never be lazy or impatient but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. Know that your suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.”

Sustain me as You promised, that I may live; let me not be ashamed of my hope. Psalm 119:116

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into his grace in which we stand, we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Romans 5
