Am I a God who is nearby, says the Lord, and or a God far off? Who can hide ins secret places so that I cannot see them?
Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. Psalm 139
“Here I am, Lord. Send me.” Isaiah 6:8.
When we have totally surrendered to God, we have no recourse but to follow where he leads, we are no longer fearful of the unknown, but we trust God to confidently work things out according to his plans. So, today, Lord, we are willing, and we know that you will make us able to follow where you lead.
“Have thine own way! Thou art the potter, I am the clay. Mold me and make me after thy will, while I am waiting, yielded and still.”
“Oh, the pure delight of a single hour, that before Thy throne I spend, when I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God, I commune as friend with friend! Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord, by the power of grace divine; let my soul look up with a steadfast hope, and my will be lost in Thine.” So, continually draw me closer to you, dear Lord. I completely surrender to you, I desire a deeper relationship with you, drawing inspiration from you, and growing closer to you. I have heard your voice, dear Lord, and I am yours; where you lead me, I will follow.
I can hear my Savior calling, I can hear my Savior calling, I can hear my Savior calling, “Take thy cross and follow, follow me.” Where he leads me I will follow, where he leads me I will follow, where he leads me I will follow; I’ll go with him, with him all the way.
Oh God, give us the courage to hear you when you call and the courage to say, “Hear I am, Lord. Send me”. So many times you have called us by name, but it falls on deaf ears, too many times you have ordered our steps and we try to walk in our own wilful way, but today Lord, we are standing in your presence and we are attentive to your voice, and we are ready to hear and answer your call. Lord, we understand that you order the steps of a good man, so, here I am, send me.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. Therefore, my heart rejoices, and I give thanks to Him with my song. The Lord is the strength of His people, a stronghold of salvation for His anointed. Psalm 28:7-8
