A man’s heart plans his way, but God directs his steps

“Hear my son and be wise, and guide your heart in the ways of the Lord, give me your heart and let your eyes observe my ways, for the way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the way that seems right is to his destruction, for our eyes will see strange things, and our hearts will utter perverse things.” Help us Dear Lord, to never lean to our own understanding, but in all things to seek your guidance and wait for your direction; for a man’s heart plans his way, but you, O Lord, directs his steps.
