“Lord, help me live from day to day, in such a self-forgetful way, that even when I kneel to pray, my prayer shall be for others. Help me in all the work I do, to ever be sincere and true, and know that all I do for you, just meet the needs of others. And when my work on earth is done, and my new work in heaven’s begun, may I forget the crown I’ve won, while thinking still of others. Others, Lord, yes others, let this my motto be, help me to live for others, that I may live like Thee.”

“Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up.” My brothers and sisters in Christ, do you want to be weighed down today or be lifted up? Try laying aside your own worries and cheer up someone else. Know that when you carry the burden of others, God takes your yoke upon Him and gives you rest.

“In my father’s house are many mansions, if it were not true, he would have told me so. He has gone away to live in that bright city, He’s preparing me a mansion there I know. Do not shun the savior’s love, from up in glory, or you won’t be there to sing the gospel story, in my father’s house are many mansions, if you’re true then to this land you’ll surely go.”

“Down in the valley with my Savior I would go, where the flowers are blooming and the sweet waters flow; everywhere He leads me I would follow, follow on, walking in His footsteps till the crown be won. Follow, follow, follow I would follow Jesus, everywhere he leads me I will follow on.”

This Book of the Law must not depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in all you do. Joshua 1:8

“How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked Jesus “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.”

Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends, those who lend money without charging interest, and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent; such people will stand firm forever. Psalm 15
