“With joy I draw from out of God’s well, rich blessings day by day, with living waters springing up I find beside the way. The blessings that flow out of this deep well, makes fruitful life abound, a watered garden in the soul, where’er this well is found.” Thank you, Lord

“There is never a day so dreary, that God cannot make bright, and unto the soul that trusts him, he gives a song in the night. There is never a path so hidden, that God won’t lead the way, if we would only seek him, and patiently wait and pray. There is never a cross so heavy, but his nail-scarred hands are there, outstretched in tender compassion, the burden to help us bear. There is never a heart so broken, that the loving Lord can’t heal, for the heart that was pierced on Calvary, does still for his loved-ones feel.” Amen!

“Why should I feel discouraged? Why should the shadows come? Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home, when Jesus is my portion? My constant friend is He, His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me; I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free; for His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me. My heavenly Father watches over me!”

What a wonderful assurance! Just to know that God is faithful, that God is a god who cannot change, that His compassions are new every morning! Lord, our friends change like changing years, but there is not a shadow of turning with You. You remain the same from age to age. Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness towards us.  Great is Your faithfulness!

“Just as I am, without one plea, but that Thy blood was shed for me, and that Thou bidst me come to Thee, O Lamb of God, I come, I come. Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind; sight, riches, healing of the mind, yea, all I need in Thee to find, O Lamb of God, I come, I come. Just as I am, Thou wilt receive, wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve; because Thy promise I believe, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.”

“Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart; naught be all else to me, save that Thou art. Thou my best Thought, by day or by night, waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light. Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word; I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord; Thou my great Father, I Thy true son; Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.”

 “Day by day and with each passing moment, strength I find to meet my trials here; trusting in my Father’s wise bestowment, I’ve no cause for worry or for fear. He whose heart is kind beyond all measure, gives unto each day what He deems best, lovingly, its part of pain and pleasure, mingling toil with peace and rest.”

THE LORD HEARS OUR PRAYERS! “Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer! Thy wings shall my petition bear, to Him whose truth and faithfulness, engage the waiting soul to bless. And since He bids me seek His face, believe His Word and trust His grace, I’ll cast on Him my every care, and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!”

“Sweet hour of prayer, sweet hour of prayer, that calls me from a world of care; and bids me at my Father’s throne, make all my wants and wishes known. In seasons of distress and grief, my soul has often found relief, and oft escaped the tempter’s snare, by Thy return, sweet hour of prayer.”

“I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart. I will give You thanks before the heavenly beings, I will sing Your praises, I will glorify Your name forever. Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”
