Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound, they walk in the light of Your countenance, in Your name they rejoice all day long, and in Your righteousness they are exalted. Psalm 89: 15-16

Have you recently met someone who just seemed like a breath of fresh air? Or being in the presence of someone and really enjoying their company? My brothers and sisters in Christ, as Christians, this is the way that others should perceive us, because we know the joyful sound, we walk in the light of God’s countenance, and therefore, our hearts should be glad and full of light, we should be able to rejoice in the Lord all the day long.

Lord, you have washed me white as snow, you’ve predestined the way I should go, so every day just draw me closer, let me always walk with You. Thank you, Lord!

“Thou my everlasting Portion, more than friend or life to me, all along my pilgrim journey, Savior, let me walk with Thee, close to Thee, close to Thee, all along my pilgrim journey, Savior, let me walk with Thee. Not for ease or worldly pleasure, not for fame my prayer shall be, gladly I will toil and suffer, only let me walk with Thee. Lead me through the vale of shadows, bear me o’re life’s fitful sea, then the gate of life eternal, may I enter Lord with Thee.”

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7

Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. Isaiah 1:18

For the Son of Man will come in His Father’s glory with His angels, and then He will repay each one according to what he has done. Matthew 16:27

But who will be able to endure it when he comes? Who will be able to stand and face him when he appears? For he will be like a blazing fire that refines metal, or like a strong soap that bleaches clothes. Malachi 3:2

If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. 1 Corinthians 3:14

“If anyone builds on the foundation of Christ using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light; and on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value.”

For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11

“My hope is built on nothing less, that Jesus blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame but wholly lean on Jesus name. On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand, all other ground is sinking sand.”

I’ve been changed I am new-born now; all my life has been rearranged, oh what a difference it made since the Lord came and stayed, and in my heart, oh yes, I’ve been changed.” Thank You, Lord, for creating this change in me. It’s a wonderful life!

When we were living a life of disobedience our minds were set on earthly things, we followed the ways of the wicked; “But now you must get rid of all such things – anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive language from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have stripped off the old self with its practices and have clothed yourselves with the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of its creator. In this renewal we are no longer enslaved but freed and Christ is all in all.”

If you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1

My brothers and sisters in Christ, “Set your minds on the things that above, not on the things that are on the earth, for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory. Therefore, put to death, whatever in you that is earthly: fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire which is idolatry. On account of these, the wrath of God is coming on those who are disobedient.” Praise the Lord!

Turn to me and show me mercy, as You do to those who love Your name. Establish my steps through Your promise; let no sin rule over me. Psalm 119:132-133

“Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace. For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”

If we deliberately go on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins remains. Hebrews 10:26

Cleanse me from my hidden faults, keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless and cleansed of great transgression. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Amen! Psalm 19:12-14
