Renew our minds, Lord, so that we may be transformed in your likeness and not be conformed to the ways of the world; guide us through all things temporal so that we do not lose out on the things eternal. Amen!

Lord, we come before you this morning, because we know that you understand the desires of our hearts, you see beforehand the changes that are coming and going, guide us Lord through all the changes of our lives, strengthen our resolve to be more like you, all this we ask in your precious name. Amen!

“Whoever corrects a mocker invites insults, whoever rebukes the wicked incurs abuse.”

“Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you; rebuke the wise and they will love you. Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.”

“Instruct a wise man, and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man, and he will increase his learning. But you cannot separate fools from their foolishness, even though you grind them like grain with mortar and pestle.”

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. For by me your days will be multiplied, and years of life will be added to you. If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, and if you scoff, you will bear it alone. Proverbs 9

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind. Romans 12

Oh God, grant us wisdom this day, so that amid the changes, the transformations, and the ideals of this world, that we may not be overwhelmed; instill in us the mindset to test what is presented to us, so that we could discern what is your will, what is good, acceptable and perfect in your eyes. All this we ask in your most precious name. Amen!

“Be not afraid, I go before you always, come, follow me, and I will give you rest.”

Because you trust in the Lord, “You shall cross the barren desert, but you shall not die of thirst. You shall wander far in safety, though you do not know the way. You shall speak your words in foreign lands and all will understand, you shall see the face of God and live.”

Yet I am always with You; You hold my right hand. Psalm 73:23

For He stands at the right hand of the needy one, to save him from the condemners of his soul. Psalm 109:31

I have set the Lord always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:8

They confronted me in my day of calamity, but the Lord was my support. Psalm 18:8

The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, whom shall I dread? Psalm 27:1

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

The Lord is on my side; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? Psalm 118:6

So we say with confidence: “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He never leave us nor forsake us. 1 Kings 8:57.

Do not be afraid,” Elisha answered, “for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” My enemies will retreat on the day I cry for help. By this I will know that God is on my side.

What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31
