You are to follow the Lord your God and fear Him. Keep His commandments and listen to His voice; serve Him and hold fast to Him. Deuteronomy 13:4

But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you. Jeremiah 7:23

In a panic, I cried out, “I am cut off from the Lord!” But you heard my cry for mercy and answered my call for help. Psalm 31:22

In my distress I called upon the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From His temple, He heard my voice, and my cry for His help reached His ears. Psalm 18:6

O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. Psalm 51:15

I cried out to Him with my mouth and praised Him with my tongue. If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer. Psalm 66

Order my steps in Your word; let no sin rule over me. Psalm 119:133

How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. Keep your servant from deliberate sins! Don’t let them control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin. Psalm 19:12

May my meditation be pleasing to Him, for I rejoice in the Lord. Psalm 104:34

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock, and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:14

If we confess our sins, He is faithful, and just, to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

“In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you, says the Lord.”

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin! Psalm 51

How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, purify our consciences from works of death, so that we may serve the living God! Hebrews 9:14

“For no one is abandoned by the Lord forever, though he brings grief, he also shows compassion, because of the greatness of his unfailing love.”

“I am the one who has seen the afflictions that come from the rod of the Lord’s anger. He has led me into darkness, shutting out all light, and he has turned his hand against me again and again, all day long. He has walled me in, and I cannot escape. He has bound me in heavy chains and though I cry and shout, he has shut out my prayers, he has blocked my way with a high stone wall, and he has made my road crooked. But it is better to fall into the hands of the Lord, for His mercies are great; but do not let me fall into the hands of men.”

The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him, so it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord. And it is good for people to submit at an early age to the yoke of his discipline. Lamentations 3

Lord, I am so thankful that I was never far from you or you from me.  For you have shown me your loving kindness, even at times when I trained myself to walk in my own willful way, but at the appointed time, you caused me to submit myself to the yolk of your discipline and it has been good for me. Continue to correct me with kindness, continue to lead me in your pathway; for to walk with you is right and to follow you is light. Thank you, Lord!

But I called on your name, Lord, from deep within the pit, you heard me when I cried, “Listen to my pleading! Hear my cry for help!” Yes, you came when I called; you told me, “Do not fear.”

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness, His mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” Lamentations 3
