Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5,6

‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take Him at His Word, just to rest upon His promise, just to know, “Thus saith the Lord!” Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er, Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! Oh, for grace to trust Him more! Lord, I am trusting you with my whole heart because I know that you are faithful, and you have shown me your loving-kindness in so many areas of my life, and I am truly grateful.

“I trust in God wherever I may be, upon the land or on the rolling sea, for come what may, from day to day, my heavenly Father watches over me.” Thank you, Lord!

“I trust in God, I know he cares for me, on mountain bleak or on the stormy sea; though billows roll, he keeps my soul, my heavenly Father watches over me. The valley may be dark, the shadows deep, but oh, the shepherd guards his lonely sheep; and through the gloom, he’ll lead me home, for my heavenly Father watches over me. I’ll trust in God, for, in the lion’s den, on battlefield, or in the prison pen; through praise or blame, through flood or flame, my heavenly Father watches over me.”

Those who go through the desolate valley will find it a place of springs, for the early rains have covered it with pools of water. Psalm 84

Many of us as Christians have set our hearts on the pilgrims’ way, and as we travel along the pilgrim way, instead of it getting easier, the journey seems longer and more difficult. But, should we give up or should we travel on? My brothers and sisters in Christ, if we choose to travel on, we will go through desolate valleys, but we will also find in it a place of springs, for the early rains would have covered it with water. Know that the longer the pilgrim journey, the deeper will be your walk with God. Press on towards the goal!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. Ephesians 1:3

“I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father, of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him, so that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which he has called you., what are the riches of His glorious inheritance among the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power to us who believe.”

Happy are the people who dwell in your house, they will be praising you. Psalm 84:3

“How dear to me is your dwelling, O Lord of hosts! My soul has a desire and longing for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh rejoice in the living God.”

“What child is this who lay to rest, on Mary’s lap is sleeping, whom angels greet with anthems sweet, while shepherds watch are keeping?”

“This, this is Christ the King, whom shepherds guard and angels sing. Haste, haste to bring him laud, the Babe, the Son of Mary. So, bring him incense, gold and myrrh, come peasant king to own him, the King of Kings salvation brings, let loving hearts enthrone him.”

“Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind? Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and days of auld lang syne? For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne, we’ll take a cup of kindness yet, for days of auld lang syne.”

It’s true, some people come into our lives for a reason and a season, don’t look back at friends you’ve lost but look ahead to the new ones you’ll meet, glean the good from the season past, and move on, knowing that seasons don’t last, but you must be good to yourself and always be true, and the new memories you make will last your whole life through. When I awoke this morning, I prayed, Lord, make me a blessing to someone today, and he heard, at some point during the day, I heard someone say, ‘Thank you, you are a blessing to me!'(Another Jewel Greer Original)

“From heaven above to earth I come, to bring good news to everyone, glad tidings of great joy I bring, to all the world, and gladly sing.”

“This is the Christ, God’s Son most high, who hears your sad and bitter cry, He will Himself your Savior be, and from all sin will set you free. The blessings which the Father planned, the Son holds in His infant’s hand, that in His kingdom bright and fair, you may with us His glory share.” Thank You, Lord!

“Christians awake, salute the happy morn, whereon the Savior of the world was born.”

“Rise to adore the mystery of love, which host of angels chanted from above, with them the joyful tidings first begun, of God Incarnate and the Virgin’s Son. Then, to the watchful shepherds it was told, who heard the angelic herald’s voice, ‘Behold, I bring good tidings of a Savior’s birth to you and the nations on the earth’, this day God fulfilled His promised word, this day is born a Savior, Christ the Lord.”
