“The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want.” Too many of us know this Psalm so well and still, doubt God’s abilities.
I don’t know about you, but the Lord is my Shepherd and I don’t want for anything, because God supplies my every need. He is my provider, my father whose house abounds in bread and he will not withhold anything good from me if I continually walk in His way and trust Him completely. I will never doubt His abilities.
Let us enter His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him in song. Psalm 95:2

“New every morning is the love, our wakening and uprising prove; through sleep and darkness safely brought, restored to life and power and thought. New mercies, each returning day, hover around us while we pray; new perils past, new sins forgiven, new thoughts of God, new hopes of heaven. If on our daily course our mind, be set to hallow all we find, new treasures still, of countless price, God will provide for sacrifice.” Thank you, Lord!
“Unless the Lord had helped me, I would soon have settled in the silence of the grave. Our help is in the name of the Lord!” Let us give him thanks and praise for all that he has done for us.
What if the Lord had not been on our side? Let all Israel now say, if it had not been for the Lord on our sides when people rose up against us. then they would have swallowed us up alive when their anger was kindled against us. The waters would have engulfed us; a torrent would have overwhelmed us. Our help is in the name of the Lord! Psalm 124
Is anyone among you suffering? Then he must pray. Is anyone cheerful? He is to sing praises. James 5:13
When we are suffering, we should make it a habit to pray. “Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” Also, when we are happy, we should make it a habit to praise the Lord.
“The Lord is good and his mercy is everlasting.” We must never take His goodness for granted, but be thankful always.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise, be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations. Psalm 100
