My brothers and sisters in Christ, let us do all such things as will bring God honor and glory. Whatever we do should be done from the heart.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests but also to the interests of others. Philippians 2:3,4

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. Romans 12:1

Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending side by side for the faith of the gospel, without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. Philippians 1:27

Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Ephesians 4:1,2

“And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.”

Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah. Acts 3:19-20

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your loving-kindness: according to the multitude of your tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned and done what is evil in Your sight so that You may be proved right when You speak and blameless when You judge.  Psalm 51

You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. Romans 6:18

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the fruit you reap leads to holiness, and the outcome is eternal life. Romans 6:22

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. Romans 8:1

“For when we lived according to the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in our bodies, bearing fruit for death. So, if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed!” Thank God, we are free!

“For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. So, letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death, but letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.”

Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. Romans 8:8,9

If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Romans 14:8

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own, you were bought at a price. Therefore, glorify God with your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Hope in God does not disappoint us! This hope will never lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. Romans 5:5

I fully expect and hope that I will never be ashamed, but that I will continue to be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past. And I trust that my life will bring honor to Christ, whether I live or die. Philippians 1:20
