Living a God-Dependent life, takes courage.
Lord, I know that your right arm will sustain me as I continue to live my life depending on you. I am confident that you will not allow my strength to fail in times of adversity. Keep me in the palm of your hand and under the shadow of your wings. Thank you, Lord!
Thank you, dear Lord, that because I have learned to live a God-dependent life, I am able to turn pain into praise and heartaches into hallelujahs. Because I am living a God-dependent life, I can put fears to flight, I can trade worries for waiting, and weary for willingness; confident, that all things will work together for my good, because I love God.
Thank you, dear Lord, that because I am living a God-dependent life, I can praise you more and criticize you less. I can thank you in the midst of my struggles. I can give to others even when I don’t have enough for myself. I can bring comfort to others even when my troubles get me down. I can lift you up in praise even after I have been disappointed, and I can thank you for unanswered prayers.
Your word, oh Lord, is a light unto my feet, and a lamp unto my path. Let me continue to live daily for you by feasting and meditating on your Word, so that I may see the path that I should take.
Dear Lord, let me not be like a chafe before the wind, let me not be like the restless wave driven and tossed by the sea. Let me not be a doubtful Thomas who only believes what he sees, but by faith, believe, that with you, all things are possible, that a thousand years in your sight is like a day to you when it’s past, and understand that there is nothing impossible for you.
My brothers and sisters in Christ, I don’t know about you: “But, I’ve got my mind made up and I won’t turn back, because I want to see my Jesus someday. I’ve got my mind made up, and I won’t turn back, because I want to see my Jesus someday.”
“Goodbye world, I stay no longer with you, Goodbye pleasures of sin, I stay no longer with you, I’ve made up my mind to go God’s way the rest of my life, I’ve made up my mind to go God’s way the rest of my life. Born, born, born again thank God, I’m born again, Born, born, born again thank God, I’m born again, Born, born, born again thank God, I’m born again.” Amen! Praise God!
“The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of justice. The law of God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.”
“The wicked watches the righteous and seeks to slay him. But, the Lord will not leave him in his hand; nor condemn him when he is judged.”
“Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright. For the future of that man is peace. The future of the wicked shall be cut off.”
“Wait on the Lord, and keep His way, and He shall exalt you to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it. I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a native green tree. Yet, he passed away, and behold, he was no more. Indeed, I sought him, but he could not be found.”
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and He delights in his way. Even though he will fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord upholds him with His hand.”
“I have been young and now I am old, yet, I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread. God is ever merciful and lends, and His descendants are blessed. Depart from evil and do good, and dwell forever more. For the Lord loves justice and does not forsake His sakes. They are preserved forever.” To God be the glory!
A little that the righteous man has, is better than the riches of the wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous. Proverbs 37:16-17
“The Lord know the days of the upright, and their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied; but the wicked shall perish.”
I have kept my feet from every evil path, that I may keep Your word. Proverbs 119:109
My son, do not walk the road with them or set foot upon their path. For their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed blood. Proverbs 1:15-16
This Book of the Law must not depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in all you do. Joshua 1:8
How many of us delight ourselves by reading the Bible? I have made it a habit to read my Bible every day, and there is always a verse or Scripture that sustains me. My brothers and sisters in Christ, reading the Bible should not be an obligation, but a delight. For the more we study the word, the more we will understand the way how to act. Scripture reminds us, that, if we are careful to do everything written in the Bible, that we will prosper and succeed in all that we do.
