Weary, wandering soul, will you turn to Jesus?

We wander and roam yet can’t find a home, we toss and we turn and we can’t find rest, but Jesus’ love so precious and free is waiting to welcome us home. O, turn to that love, weary, wandering soul, Jesus is pleading for thee.

Are you afraid of your wilderness?

Do not be afraid of where you are, or where you have been, or what you have done. Your wilderness had a name, but you survived. The Lord has loved you with an everlasting love, therefore, with loving-kindness he will draw you again to him. No matter how far removed you are from him because of your troubles, God is able to make you much better than you were before. Trust him!

I love to do your will O Lord, your law is deep within my heart.

“Your righteousness I have not hidden in my heart, I have spoken of your faithfulness and your deliverance. I have not concealed your love and faithfulness from the great congregation. You are the Lord, do not withhold your compassion from me; let your love and your faithfulness keep me safe forever.” Lord, you have done so much for me; give me a thankful heart always.

Will you tell out your souls the glory of the Lord?

“Tell out, my soul, the greatness of the Lord! Unnumbered blessings give my spirit voice; tender to me the promise of His word; in God my Savior shall my heart rejoice. Tell out, my soul, the greatness of His Name! Make known His might, the deeds His arm has done; His mercy sure, from age to age to same; His holy Name – the Lord, the Mighty One.” Praise the Lord!

The Lord is worthy of all of our praise!

I will sing to the Lord as long as I live, I will sing praise to my God, while I have my being. May my meditation be sweet to Him; I will be glad in the Lord. Bless the Lord, O my soul! Praise the Lord!

How do we thank you, Lord, for all the many blessings you bestow on us?

Lord, most times we don’t even say thank you. We remember you when things are bad, we call you when we are down and out, but when you deliver us, we go on our merry way and forget you. Yet, when we fall into the same situation and we call upon, you never remind us of our rebelliousness, you give, and supply our needs. Give us grateful, thankful hearts to be mindful of your goodness. “Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all His benefits! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name!”

God’s greatest blessing in my life is my daughter.

Thank you, Lord, for blessing me. It is not because of anything good that I did but your favor on me. As Davika celebrates another Birthday today, Lord, draw her closer to you, in Jesus name I pray. Amen!

Did God ever break a promise to you?

I don’t know about you, but my God has kept His promises to me and I will forever stand on His promises knowing that I cannot fall; I’ll be listening every moment to the Spirit’s call, and resting in my Savior as my All in All, standing on the promises of God.

Are you devising plans that are not of God?

“Woe to the rebellious children,” declares the Lord, “Who execute a plan, but not Mine, and make an alliance, but not of My Spirit, in order to add sin to sin.”

Is your outward appearance a cover for your evil deeds?

God has his way to expose the hidden things of this world. “It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. He reveals mysteries from the darkness and brings the deep darkness into light.” Your outward appearance will not cover your evil deeds forever, live clean and let your works be seen.
