Is your shepherd leading you astray?
Too many of our brothers and sisters have found themselves among the wrong flock, being led astray by their shepherd. We need to be aware of who is shepherding our flock, we need to be aware of the sounds they make, we need to understand just what their mission is. For those shephers who are ordained by God, listen to Him, they know His voice and they know how to shepherd God’s flock. Let us pray to God for the discernment to know the voice of the Good Shpeherd and follow Him.
“O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.”
Lord, do not let those who are wrongfully my enemies rejoice over me; nor let those who hate me without cause wink maliciously. Show me how to do good to them even though they have shown me nothing but evil.
Will you make time for God today?
God is able to create a change in us. God is able to give us life anew. God is able to grant us the gift of salvation. With all that God can do, why do you stand afar off? If you seek God today, you will see just what he will do for you.
Are we brave enough to stand up for Jesus?
If you try to stand up for Jesus in your strength alone, the arm of flesh will fail you, but, if you put on the Gospel armor and carefully put on each piece with prayer, your courage will rise with every danger you face and you will be victorious. So stand up, stand up for Jesus, lift high his royal banner, it must not suffer loss.
Are you being loyal to Jesus?
Many of us claim to be loyal to Jesus but never stand up for Him. How could we be loyal to Jesus and never defend His name? How can we ever be loyal to Jesus, when we fail to trust in his wonderful grace? My brothers and sisters in Christ, its’ time to be loyal to Jesus your King, for He has been loyal to you. “Whatever you do, wherever you go, be loyal to Jesus, your King!”
Did you forget to thank God for the crisis he just brought you through?
If God has been good to you, and you by any chance forgot to say thank you. Stop right where and give God a praise! Don’t think, just stop right where you are and give God a praise!
Are you truly thankful?
Truly, thankful people are happy people, because they are content with such things as they have, and are willing to share the little they have so that others could be happy too. When God blesses us, we sometimes take it for granted, but, we should know, that when God blesses us, he expects something in return; our truly, grateful, thankful hearts
“Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised!”
The lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all and His tender mercies are over all His works. Psalm 145:8-9
Have mercy on me Oh God!
“Cast me not away from Your presence; and take not Your holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of Your salvation; and uphold me with Your free spirit. Then will I teach transgressors Your ways; and sinners shall be converted unto You. Deliver me from blood-guiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness. O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth Your praise.”
The Lord is always more willing to hear us than we are to pray and ask for help.
Lord, let all those who seek You rejoice, and be glad in You. Let such as love Your salvation say continually, “The Lord be magnified!” For You are our helper and in You we put our trust. Deliver us good Lord!
