Will there ever be a cap on the measure of God’s love towards us?
Though we have sinned he has mercy and pardon, though we have been forgetful, he showers us with blessings, though we have turned our backs on him, he never forsakes us, though we have worshipped idols, he saves us. We can never measure the length, the breadth, the height or the width of God’s love towards us. Your love towards us O Lord, is priceless and eternal. Thank you, Lord!
Do you want the Lord to hear the desires of your heart and answer you?
Well, humble yourself before the Lord, then surely, you will find delight in the Almighty and will lift up your face to God. For everyone who humbly asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. But, see to it, that, when the Lord grants you your heart’s desire, when he makes all of your plans succeed that you do not forget him. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Praise the Lord!
Are you weary, are you languid, are you sore distressed this morning?
“Come to Me,” saith One, “and coming, be at rest.” Hath He marks to lead me to Him, If He be my Guide? In His feet and hands are wound prints and His side. Hath He diadem, as monarch, that His brow adorns? Yes, a crown in very surety, but of thorns. If I find Him, if I follow, what His guerdon here? Many a sorrow, many a labor, many a tear. If I still hold closely to Him, what hath He at last? Sorrow vanquished, labor ended, Jordan passed. If I ask Him to receive me, will He say me nay? Not till earth and not till Heaven, pass away. Finding, following, keeping, struggling, is He sure to bless? Saints, apostles, prophets, martyrs, answer, Yes!” What a blessed assurance this morning in the words of this song. Be at rest!
What is your plea this morning before God?
Lord, we come before you this morning with prayerful, thankful hearts, we also bring before you this morning Lord, our comforts and our cares, and we lay them at your feet Lord, we are confident this morning Lord, that you will spring up, O well of blessing, that you will spring in our midst today, for our thirsty souls are longing, to drink abundantly. So, come from the hidden fountains, come in a brimming flood; refresh us in the desert, thou precious gift of God. Amen!
Will you praise the Lord for his mighty acts?
“The voice of the Lord is upon the waters. Ascribe to the Lord, glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord, the glory due His name, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. The Lord shall give strength to his people, the Lord shall give His people the blessing of peace.” Praise Him!
Is God worthy of all your praise?
Indeed he is! Our God is strong tower, our God is our shelter in times of storm, and our God is able to do for us what no one is willing or able to. Is he not worthy of your praise this morning? Let’s just give God a praise. Stand right where you are and give God a praise!
Do you daily depend on the Lord to lead you and guide you?
We can do nothing in our own strength, but we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, therefore, we should always be dependent on God to lead us and guide us in all we do and say. Before we begin any task on any given day, we should take the time to kneel down and pray, asking God for his guidance and direction and for Him to clearly show us the way.
Why do we continue to stumble despite all of God’s teachings?
We continue to stumble because we fail to walk uprightly, we fail to meditate daily on God’s word so that we could understand His precepts, that we may know His ways and walk in them. “If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it. Therefore, do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.” If you allow this, you will be sinning against the Lord; and you may be sure that your sin will find you out and you will continue to stumble. Who is wise? Let him understand these things.
Is it possible for you to get angry and not sin?
Oh yes! But, in order for us to be angry and not sin, it requires us to have abiding faith, to be rooted and grounded in God’s word, it requires of us to be sober and vigilant at all times, so that Satan might not outwit us, for we are not unaware of his schemes. Satan’s desire is to sift us like wheat, his desire is to lead us away from God, and that is why we must not give him any opportunity. When we get angry, we must immediately take a step back and remind ourselves, that, we are better than this, that we are stronger than this, that this situation will not be our downfall, but a situation that we would be able to learn something from, that this situation would give us opportunity when past, to tell someone else that, God is bigger than any problem that we can or cannot see. Praise the Lord!
Why is it so hard for others to see and acknowledged glory of the Lord!
My brothers and sisters in Christ, let us continue to spread the good news of Christ, let us continue to tell the world of his glories, his wonders and his awesome goodness, as many refuse to acknowledge him, but, the Lord has spoken. He said, “Then I will purify the lips of the peoples, that all of them may call on the name of the Lord and serve him shoulder to shoulder. Every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord, and the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God, as the waters cover the sea.”
